SNEAK PEEK PRE-SALE SHOPPING EVENT starts at 3pm on Thursday Sept 15th, till 6pm.
You'll enter on Iron Street at the side door and pay a $10 admission that benefits CHS!
Line numbers will be available at 1pm this day at the Iron Street side door.
Sale continues Friday Sept 16th and Sat Sept 17th from 9am till 3pm with free admission.
Line numbers at 8am on these days at the Iron Street Side Door.
PARKING
Parking is available on the street and on the parking lot next to the Museum.
BOXES not BAGS
We have a strict policy of no medium or large bags of any kind at the sale. Leave all bags locked in your trunk! You can bring a tub or box into the sale.
PAYMENTS
Please bring CASH. We do accept Visa, MC, AM EX and Discover with a 5% fee. We have a $50 minimum for credit or debit cards.
PICK UP of LARGE or HEAVY ITEMS
You are responsible for getting your purchase out of the museum building. We have no one to assist you with large or heavy items. We can arrange a time for you to return and load your items another day but everything must be out by the end of our 3-Day sale.

Sat Sept 17th we open at 9am and it is the official Half Price day on most everything!
The sale will be held in this fascinating and historic Museum. They are selecting items from their extensive collections to offer to the public as a means to raise funds for the society. In Sept 1982 the building was placed on the National Register for Historic Places.
The Carondelet Historic Center Building opened in 1873 as the Des Peres School which housed the first publicly funded Kindergarten in the United States founded by Susan Blow.The Museum was founded in 1967. It is quite an amazing place!
They will be offering tours of the Museum on Fri and Sat of the Sale!
The Tour Includes:
Susan Blow Kindergarten - Recreation of the Susan Blow Kindergarten complete with old school furniture and period books etc..It was the first continuous public school kindergarten in the United States! Founded Sept 1973 in the DePeres school by Miss Susan E Blow.
The Cleveland Room. This year marks the 100th Anniversary of Cleveland High School in St Louis, Mo. It houses artifacts from the school.You will see the YALE BOWL team pictures, sports, academic and club trophies.
Wall of Honor - On display are over 1,300 pictures of veterans from the Civil War to Present conflicts.
Memory Lane Room - Street of St Louis Storefronts from the 19th and 20th Century including a collection of Antique Dolls from around the world, toys, tools , interactive train layout with two running trains, and an old fashioned meat markets with original fixtures. Old erector set Ferris Wheel that works!
Heritage Room - Victorian Era housewares from the Carondelet Area, Early Victorian Carondelet bedroom, music display and a special exhibit of Vintage Clothing. 1904 Worlds Fair Items are also featured.
Art gallery -features local Carondelet Artists
Frederick Bouchein Library and Archives containing the CHS archives and collections of historic documents, genealogical reources, 1870-1985 City directories, Delor Family Papers (founder of Carondelet in 1767)
Many other items and displays throughout the museum!
Donations are always appreciated for this special tour to be given Friday Sept 16 and Sat Sept 17 from 10am to 2pm each day.
St Louis is famous for Gooey Butter Cake and the CHS will be selling Gooey Butter Cake.
