The Redoute original engravings are stipple engravings which were hand-colored and sealed in gold leaf frames. They are of roses and quite rare. We priced them at half what the owner paid in 1991. They date from Napoleonic times, published in 1820-24.

The settee is Federal with most perfectly carved wood; especially the eagle head, wings, and foot supporting the front of the piece. Fabric is in fine condition and cost $300 per yard. It is of museum quality dating from c 1820 and originally in the family in the Massachusetts area.

The Pembroke table dates from 1790 and is in excellent condition.

The drop-leaf table with cross supports is dated Asa Swift 1820 in the drawer.

The mahogany game table is one of the finest we have ever had to offer for sale. It is from the New England area and dates c 1820 in the original empire style.

The nephrite jade Kwan Yin is extremely beautiful and carved to perfection. it stands up by itself. We do not have the original wooden stand. It is approximately 10 inches tall.

The beautiful antique Victorian pastel oval portraits would be a nice addition to any home as well as other original art and lithographs.

The home is full of antiques and practical household goods. It is a very good sale.
