The VFW has a full bar and snack bar available. If you have estate firearms that you would like to liquidate at this event, please call us at 636-299-2121 FFL will accept "cash only" for the transfers from the buyers, and it must be paid prior to the transfer and background check being performed.  Transfer fees will be paid on the day of the auction. All federal and state firearm laws will be followed.  Firearm buyers MUST have a valid government issued ID (typically unexpired driver’s license).  The ID MUST have the buyer's current address on it. MISSOURI RESIDENTS The transfer fees for the auction will be assessed on each handgun, rifle, or shotgun as follows: $20 for the 1st firearm $10 for each additional firearm No charge for Law Enforcement Missouri residents will be able to take their firearms with them as long as the background check/transfer is completed. ILLINOIS RESIDENTS must have a valid FOID card with them the day of auction The transfer fees for the auction will be assessed on each handgun, rifle, or shotgun as follows: $30 for the 1st firearm $15 for each additional firearm No charge for Law Enforcement Illinois residents will have to pick up their firearms at Fort Saxtown, 5045 Floraville Road, Millstadt, IL  62260  Illinois FFL will schedule appointments the day of the auction, for buyers who are unable to schedule that day FFL will contact within 48 hours to schedule an appointment.  Buyers will be encouraged to schedule as soon as possible to do the background check and transfer paperwork.  All firearm transfers will need to be completed within seven (7) days of the auction.   In the event the government will not allow a firearm to be transferred to the buyer, the buyer will be charged a 10% restocking fee.
