**PLEASE READ** After several inquiries about the Porsche regarding pricing, we've decided that the most fair way to handle it is to take offers. We've never done that with a vehicle before, but in this case we think it's best. There's absolutely no way to find a comparable car in the exact same condition, so to put a price on it is almost impossible. This is one of those cases where it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
That will give everyone an opportunity to spend as much time as they need to look the car over and make the decision that's right for them.
We do have the key. The title will hopefully be here by sale time, but if not, should be here by the beginning of the week. It's already been mailed from Jeff. City. If there's anyone interested in the car that can't make it by on Saturday, please let us know asap. Our goal is to review the offers at the end of the day on Sat. and let the highest offer know. We can delay until Sunday morning if necessary.

ADDED FRIDAY NIGHT...To everyone interested in the Porsche..here are more photos. I've tried to show it from every angle that I could so there are no unpleasant surprises if you're not able to come look at it in person.
The odometer shows 75K. The vin # is 119300335, the serial # on the engine is 6300464. I've been told that they do match. I've also been told that the gray paint is the original color. Also..I was asked about the underneath of the car. There is some rust, but it's very solid and stable..absolutely no holes and no weak spots that we were able to find.
We will be happy to take offers from anyone local, or outside of St. Louis. You may offer via phone..314-878-7474 and leave a message, or 314-265-3854..again, leave a voicemail. Either way, please make sure that you leave me contact information and your name. You may also make an offer via e-mail to antique454@webtv.net. Of course anyone local may make an offer in person (writing) if you choose. We will take offers until about 5pm on Saturday 1-7-12, (Central time.) It'll take a while to go over everything, but later in the evening, I'll call the person with the highest offer to go over details and make arrangements for payment and pick-up of the car.
If by some chance we get multiple identical high offers, I'll call each to discuss it.

For everyone's info...we really appreciate you understanding the reason why we're handling the car this way. It's very unique for us, but we just thought it was the only way to be absolutely fair to everyone involved.
Because the actual moving sale will be going on at the same time, we probably won't be available by phone or e-mail to answer any questions.
