This is quite an eclectic sale with items ranging from baseball, photography, and collectibles to Arts & Crafts, Art Deco, and mid-century furniture!  An entire room in the lower level was devoted to orchids and other plants, so you will have access to hundreds of planters, vases, gardening books and more!

Living Room:  The Mid-Century style sofa (8') and settee (5') are on casters and priced separately.  They were re-upholstered several years ago and look like new!  The art above the sofa is by a local graphic artist.  The paper art piece above the settee is by Brother Mel.  The blue lamp on the 30" square table in the corner is one of two available. Hint:  a fun project would be to gut them and convert them to be Blue Tooth speakers!Dining Room:  WOW!  A rare vintage mini (4") St. Louis Cardinals Red Bird nodder/bobble head made in Japan is a great collectible!  To the right is an authentic signed baseball by: 31 players at the 1950 St. Louis Cardinals spring training camp.  A print-out of the roster is included but a few of the signatures include: 
Enos Slaughter, Marty Marion, Stan Musial, Red Schoendienst, Joe Garagiola and Nippy Jones.Dining Room:  Our client had these baseball players personally sign the three photos:  Vernon "Lefty" Gomez (NY Yankees); Leo Ernest "Leo the Lip" Durocher (NY Yankees); and William Harry "Bill" Terry (NY Giants).  The baseball also has the same three autographs.   Each item is separately priced.Dining Room:  Shown are four separately priced items: 
"World Series 1985 Official Program"; "American League 1901-1951 Golden Anniversary" booklet; "1987 World Series Official Program" with two Field Box National League Championship Series Tickets; and a The Sporting News "Baseball Immortals 1905-1935", a gallery of portraits which has photos of baseball's premier photographer Charles Martin Conklin (who had a nearly four decade career of baseball photography).
Dining Room:  This pre-war semi-scale Lionel 226  (circa 1940) "O" Gauge train set has its original boxes and a "Lionel Trains Instructions" booklet.  Included are:  Coal Tender-2226WX; Pennsylvania Box Car-2954; Locomotive-226E;  SHELL Oil Tanker- 2955; and Caboose -2957 (NYC #19400).  Dining Room:  A box of vintage LIONEL "O" gauge track and an LW "Trainmaster" Toy Transformer (115 volts/60 cycles/125 watts) are priced as a set.  Also shown and priced:  Lionel water tank No. 38; a pair of train signals; a box set of battery operated street lamps; a Lionel silver rotary beacon No. 394; a box of PLASTICVILLE fence and gate; an "as is" round lantern with original box; and a set of six green plastic street signs and lamp posts.Dining Room:  A vintage airplane compass (circa 1970) was made by local St. Louis company "Airpath." It was used as a back-up compass in planes. Its metal plaque states "Compass Correction/Calibrate with Radio On."   Also shown are three hood ornaments:  a 1960-1970 Cadillac; a MACK JR. Bulldog #87931; and a vintage (7-1/2") JAGUAR "Leaping Cat."  Each item is separately priced.Dining Room:  Need a vintage tire advertising ashtray? There are three:  Michelin man; Firestone Truck Tires (Johnston Bros.); and Seiberling.  Each is separately priced. (Actually another FIRESTONE ashtray was discovered after the photo was taken.) Dining Room:  This is a May, 1915 edition of "The American Chauffeur-An Automobile Digest."  Chauffeurs have been around for as long as humans needed transportation.  It was often associated with the wealthy who could afford the luxury, but today we all have access to UBER!Dining Room:  A model airplane with a cockpit and 51" wing span has its landing gear attached and is [almost] ready for take off! A box of nearby airplane motors and other items is included with the plane price.Dining Room:  A circa 1950 tin wind-up MARX 5 climbing tractor (8-1/4") hovers above a fun wood/brass kaleidoscope.  The tractor does have both of its treads.Dining Room: Two vintage World's Fair items are displayed.  On the left is a 1939 New York World's Fair Thermometer with a Trylon/Perisphere on a Bakelite base.  It is 3-1/2" tall.  On the right is an  "Official Pictures"  booklet (circa 1933) which has wonderful photos of pavilions and interesting architecture during the Chicago World's Fair.Dining Room:  Vintage 8mm Disney Mickey Mouse and Castle Films in their original boxes are each separately priced.  The one larger brown box is:  Sterling Films "Water Wonderland."  Dining Room:  An EFFANBEE Cindy doll (The Modern Cinderella) has her original box, Certificate  of Authenticity, four outfits, two pairs of socks and shoes, and her handbag (of course!).  The original Cindy was created by Dewees Cochran in the 1940's.Dining Room:  A BRAHMIN cross-body is flanked by two bottles of CHANEL No. 5.Over 90 bags of newer and costume jewelry, sterling, watches, and sunglasses.   Included are pieces by:  Trifari and Trifari Crown; Jomex; Renoir; Weiss; Pauline Rader; Kramer; J.J.; as well as Seiko and Gucci watches (batteries needed).  The small box of jewels is in the dining room; the larger box is in the living room.Family Room-Bar Area:  Three of a total of four individually-priced mid-century Arthur Umanoff-style stools are shown (one is behind the bar).  Also shown are glassware, a large hurricane, and a vintage UNIVERSAL electric coffee set (percolator, sugar, creamer, tray).Family Room-Bar Area:  Stemware; ice buckets (one is a tortoise look by Georges Briard; the other has a Dow-Jones theme); and miscellaneous items are all displayed behind the bar.Family Room-Bar Area:  A set of vintage GODINGER "Olde Bouquet" silver plate flatware includes 12 dinner forks; 12 salad forks; 12 tablespoons; 12 teaspoons; 12 dinner knives; and nine serving pieces in a flatware chest.Family Room:  Three risers and two 6' tables display lots of glassware, silver-plate, Mexican wood carvings, porcelain, pottery, coral,  shells, vintage glass (cut and pressed) and more!  Some closer photos follow.Family Room:  Clear glass Irish coffee mugs and fancy stemware surround cranberry glass and silver-plate, among other collectibles.  To the right are two Mexican wood animal carvings (one is by artist Eloy Pinos).Family Room:  Natural shells (spiny oyster; dried sea urchin) and coral (cauliflower, brown stem, elk horn, knobby brain) are among Chinese celadon goldfish plates;  a carved Myrtlewood bowl; antique cut glass water pitcher; a set of vintage LIBBEY gold leaf/frosted pilsners; and more!Family Room:  An 87" Infinity queen sofa sleeper is near a Dhurrie rug (4' x 6'  4"). Family Room:  The queen sofa sleeper is now open so you can see the clean mattress.  Keep in mind that this sofa sleeper is on the main floor---real close to the front door---for easier removal upon purchase.Family Room:  This vintage EGE RYA de luxe wool (Denmark) is a piece of 1960's-1970's Modernist Scandinavian pop art.  It is a rare find with its original tag on the reverse side!  It measures 41" x 64."  (The next photo shows the back side and original label.)Family Room:  This is the ETA Rya label and back side of the Scandinavian rug.  It is very unusual to have the label still attached to one of these very desirable mid-century rugs.Family Room:  Got time?  Each clock is separately priced.Sun Room:  What a find!  This vintage WOODARD "Chantilly Rose" patio furniture is fabulous!  And there is a lot of it!  Most is individually priced, so you can buy what you want. (But, do keep in mind:  it will be difficult to find the matching pieces later if you don't purchase it all now.)  Closer photos follow. Sun Room:  A pair of 24" round glass top Woodard "Chantilly Rose" side tables is priced separately from the 79"  matching three-section sofa.  Sun Room:  The back cushions and one seat cushion have been removed from the Woodard "Chantilly Rose" three-section sofa so you can see the frame.  Note: the three sections are bolted together but could be separated.Sun Room:  The Woodard "Chantilly Rose" cocktail table has a 48" glass top.  Notice the detail of the vines, leaves and roses. The mirror is priced with the dresser.  The photo frames, figure under glass, and lamp are separately priced.   Bedroom #1:  The matching LAMMERT's French Provincial 5-drawer chest measures 34" wide x 49" tall x 21" deep.  It has a protective glass top.   Note:  the third drawer has dividers so you can separate some of your items.Bedroom #1:  The LAMMERT's French Provincial full bed includes the headboard, footboard, side rails and bed slats.  It is priced separately from the matching one-drawer night stand with protective glass top. Included are:  Hakuichi floral plates; tea sets; vintage Japanese Hina doll carriage; 3-piece charcoal/teal tea pot; seven lucky god clay figurines; blue/white duck bill pot; metal and lacquer containers; note books; vases; and wood carvings.  On the wall are two Asian scenes.Bedroom #2:  A pair of Shaker-style low back chairs with woven seats are from "Sweitzer & Sweitzer" (Makers of Fine Furniture) of Champaign, Illinois. A short Asian style stand is in the center.Bedroom #3:  This Art Deco bedroom furniture was presented in 1929 at "The Architect and Industrial Arts" exhibit in New York at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  It is by SIKES COMPANY in Buffalo, NY, as shown on the label in the next photo.  Each piece is constructed of wood and genuine steer hide and each piece is separately priced:  night stand; two twin beds; chest; vanity/mirror.  Closer photos follow.
Bedroom #3:  This is a photo of the tag on the ART DECO night stand.  The furniture was made by THE SIKES COMPANY.  Note the reference to the steer hide.Bedroom #3:  There are actually three small drawers at the top over four larger drawers.  The next photo shows a closer look.  Note:  The ART Deco clock (a closer photo is coming up soon); the framed antique beaded purse; the gentlemen's Art Deco vanity set; and the green glass Jack-in-the-Pulpit vase are also priced.Bedroom #3:  One of the upper small drawers and the second larger drawer are open.  You can now better see the wood and steer hide construction. Very cubist!Bedroom #3:  A vintage Art Deco [Warren] TELECHROM  electric clock is displayed on the Art Deco chest.Bedroom #3:  The Art Deco vanity has an attached triple mirror, round table mirror, and is priced with the coordinating round stool with nail-head trim.  The armless chair matches the set but is separately priced.  Closer photos of the vanity set and lamp follow.   Bedroom #3:  This 5-piece Art Deco vanity set is priced as one set.Bedroom #3:  This puffy lamp's shade appears to be authentic but the painted metal electric lamp is newer.Bedroom #3:  Two pieces of art by the artist Franz Herbelot are separately priced.  They are currently hanging on the wall on each side of the Art Deco chest.Bedroom #4:  A 1940's Arts & Crafts/Mission oak library table/desk is by the "Wolverine Mfg. Co." out of Detroit, Michigan (the label is still attached inside the drawer).  It has one dovetailed drawer and an under-shelf.  The hammered drawer pulls appear to be original.      The next photo shows the side of the library table/desk.                                                                                                The book of Arts & Crafts; "Poverty Sucks" poster; and the banker's lamp with green glass shade are also for sale.  The newer "Morris" rug measures approximately  5' x 7.'Bedroom #4:  This is the left side of the Arts & Crafts/Mission oak library table/desk made by Wolverine Mfg. Co. in Detroit, Michigan.  Notice the partial slats.  This piece is in great condition!Bedroom #4: A bit of nostalgia:  a collection of 1950's memorabilia from "Wild's Palace of Poison" in South County.  Apparently, one could order one of their "murder burgers" and a cup of "witch's brew."  You could even get one of the "Death Certificates" with your order.   All of the items shown are priced as a lot.Bedroom #4:  Remember these? Vintage health posters for the classroom.  Each one is separately priced.  They would be fun framed. Bedroom #4:  Two black & white framed photographs flank a vintage secretary.  It has two adjustable shelves behind glass doors; a slant-front/drop-down desk which covers various cubbies; and three drawers.Family Room:  A seven-shelf TEAK bookcase (36" wide x 12" deep x 83'' tall) is to the right of vintage chairs, a coat rack, and round stands.  The teak bookcase displays several  Heritage Press books, many are Heritage first editions and are dated 1930-1960.  On the floor are two large books:  FREDERIC REMINGTON (Peter Hassrick) and PORTRAITS from NORTH AMERICAN INDIAN LIFE (Intros by A. D. Coleman and T.C. McLuhan).  More quality books are in the bookcase.Lower Level:  A mid-century chest has two upper doors [which cover four interior drawers] and two lower drawers.  It measures 40" wide x 20" deep x 55" tall and has  a protective glass top.Family Room:  Carved wooden giraffes oversee a smaller wood carved elephant, horse, rhinoceros, colorful painted gourds,  a North American Indian  framed sand art, and more.Lower Level:  A folding 52-1/2" poker table with beverage inserts is shown with one of a set of two separately priced four natural wood folding chairs.  The next photo shows the poker table with its included two-piece table cover in place.Lower Level:  The folding poker table now has its two-piece padded cover in place.  This allows the table to now be used for card games, board games, or dinner!Lower Level:  This is the second set of four folding chairs and two separately priced sets of four seat cushions. The TV tray set matches the natural wood chairs.  The carved wood birds on the wall are also for sale.Lower Level:  This vintage LAMMERTS two-door chest has two interior shelves.  It measures 42" wide x 14" deep x 30" tall.  Wouldn't it be great painted a bright red lacquer!  The silver-plate and copper/brass chafing sets and wall art are also for sale.Lower Level:  A wall clock (key is with the cashier) is flanked by cabinets and counters which display a vintage punch bowl set with 16 cups and ladle; DENBY "Langley Troubadour" dishes; and bar ware.  The milk can in the foreground is from the "Beatrice Creamery."Lower Level:  Board games, card games, and chalk are near a child's vintage GENERAL ELECTRIC Solid State Model V211g plastic record player. Lower Level:  This is one of three pieces of exercise equipment. . .enough to start your own gym!  Or at least fulfill that New Year's resolution.  Shown is a LIFE SPAN (PCE) tread mill.  Serial No. D08A01784.  It folds to make it easier to get up the steps and in to your vehicle upon purchase.  Lower Level:  The PRO-FORM 700 Cardio-Cross-Trainer is a Cycle Stride Select with  Model Number WFW70HEBWO.Lower Level:  The third piece is a VISION FITNESS Exercise bike, HRT  R2200.   Note:  exercise mats, an exercise ball and other work-out items are nearby.Lower Level:  A SINGER Touch 'n Sew sewing machine Model 603E includes its manuals and attachments. To the right are a swivel bar stool, more hardware, and gadgets.Lower Level-Tool Room:  This side of the room has various hand tools; vices; hardware; a Craftsman drill press and electric tools: Craftsman Sabre saw, Craftsman 3/8" drill; Black & Decker circular saw; and DeWalt reciprocating saw in a hard case.Lower Level:  The "library" has  fiction and non-fiction books which include cookbooks, history books, antiques, crafts and others. (A nice collection of garden and plant books are in the nearby plant room.)BLower Level-Plant Room:  This is one view of the room where the client raised orchids and other plants.  She had numerous humidity trays and overhead lights to aid their growth.  For sale are pots and planters (some McCoy, Hall, and one Roseville [as is]), floral chemicals/foods, rocks, baskets and many books on gardening, orchids, plants, and trees.Lower Level-Plant Room:  One section of this room has a table with bagged sea shells, candle votives, candles, and a wide selection of vases.Lower Level-Plant Room:  Several devices are shown:  a Master Mfg. Master Gardner sprayer; three fans (box, stand, tower); and a Honeywell humidifier. It measures 63-1/2" wide x 58" tall x 24" deep.Garage:  This antique domed/dovetailed chest (1823) is spectacular!  Its forged iron hinges, ring handles and lock are unbelievable!  It measures 47" wide x 24-1/2" deep x 32" tall.  Closer photos of the details follow.Garage:  This is the iron pull handle and hardware on the antique chest top. The hardware with the 1720 date is more than likely from a previous chest.  It was “recycled” to the “newer” 1823 chest.Garage:  Worn over the years but still somewhat decipherable,  the front of the antique chest has names and a date.   It looks like "Peter and Harxxx Lehman, anna 1823,” the year of their marriage. It  could have been a painted wedding/dowry chest.Garage:  This is a view of one side of the antique chest.  Notice the forged iron detail on the dome, the corners, and the iron ring.  Garage:  The interior of the chest is now shown.  We lifted up the lid of the narrow, shallow storage box on the left side.  (Note:  it appears that the bottom was cracking so someone secured  it with tape after 1823.)Garage:  HERS and HIS UNIVEGA (Rover 300) mountain bikes are priced separately.Garage:  A heavy duty bike rack on casters can hold up to six bikes.
