Note: Dr. Ellis passed at the age of 93. He was a 71 year member of the Masonic Fraternity and also an American Legion member. He worked for 30 years in the USDA Food Safety & Inspection Service with his last post being as inspector in charge of meat inspection for the State of Missouri. He served in the US Army during WWII and after returning to college he graduated from K-State with his Doctor of Veterinary degree in 1950.
