Due to the weather predictions, we have rescheduled this sale for: Saturday and Sunday, January 22 - 23, 9:00 - 3:00 Wow! What a great way to start the year . . . a fabulous sale in a 5,000+ square foot home! Items range from BAKER dining room furniture and theater seating to vintage glassware and quality garage equipment. The SAMPLE room-by-room description below gives you a better idea of what is there BUT please be sure to look at each photo and click on its description. There you will find brand names, measurements, etc. for many of the items...

Dining Room: The BAKER "Historic Charleston" banded mahogany dining table has a double pedestal base (see next photo), and brass cap feet on brass casters. It measures 67" x 46" + two 20" leaves. Custom table pads are included.

Dining Room: This beautiful crystal chandelier has six lower arms and six upper arms with white candlesticks (originally purchased at Metro Lighting in Brentwood). As shown, it measures 43" from the lower ball to the silver ceiling dome and is 29" wide. Arrangements will have to be made to turn off the power and for you or your electrician to remove it after purchase.

Each of the three upper sections has three removable glass shelves. The lower section has two doors that flank four center drawers. (Behind each door is a removable interior shelf.) Dining Room: Green depression glass in the CAMEO pattern is shown with a few pieces of vintage green Vaseline glass. Mingled among them are silver-plate salt & pepper sets, a cruet set, a pair of sterling/glass hurricanes, and a glass lidded jar. A closer photo of the art follows.

Dining Room: This artist (Gaitte) signed wooded/lake scene painting has an elaborate frame. With the frame, it measures 52" wide x 42" tall. (This is a reproduction after an original piece of art by GAITTE.)

Dining Room: An antique oval marble top table has detailed carving and is on porcelain casters. It displays a ceramic artichoke and a pair of resin candlesticks.

Dining Room: A three-tier vintage dumb waiter displays a green/white porcelain vase and a set of four green/white demitasse cups. Dumb waiters were popular from the 1700's through to the 1930's. They were used to store food that was about to be served. However, when the ladies retired, the staff would move the dumb waiters to the ends of the table and place alcoholic beverage on them for the men. The staff would then leave for the evening and the men could speak freely about many topics without the staff hearing them, hence the name "dumb waiter."

It has curved glass in each of the three sections; two mirrored back panels above three oak back panels; and large lion paw feet. Four wooden shelves with plate runners are nearby but were not re-inserted as it is easier to move this cabinet without them inside. This piece measures 45" wide x 20" deep x 63" tall.

A gold acanthus leaf capital (see next photo) and gold band are on each of the two front columns. This unit measures 82" wide x 19-l/2" deep x 92-l/2" tall. It is in multiple pieces: it is three pieces—the crown, the mid section and the base. An upcoming photo shows it open.
