Tom and Mary have been prominent business people in Aberdeen for many years. They are very active in the activities in Aberdeen as well as with the Aberdeen First Pentecostal Church. They were instrumental in the revival of a Aberdeen Staple, Kimmel Bakery which had operated in Aberdeen since 1876. Fear not the bakery will be back soon with a new owner. As most will remember Tom suffered a tragic accident about three years ago when he fell from a deer stand while hunting near his home. He suffered broken bones in both legs and was told that he may never walk again. True to his character he is proving everyone wrong and gives all credit to our heavenly father above. They have decided to sell the bakery, home and contents of each and relocate back home to Illinois. They will be hosting a tag sale at their home on June 21-22. The address will be released later this week for security reasons. They live out near the Westville community between Aberdeen and Greenwood Springs on Highway 8. Please watch for large signs in yard when approaching house to locate sale;. All items being sold are in clean working condition. Some having only been used once. There is everything from furniture, dishes, shop tools, air compressor, pressure washer, clothes, outdoor furniture, smoker, lawn items, pictures, antiques, rugs. and many other items to numerous to list. Make sure to go check them out this weekend and give them a final farewell.. Aberdeen is loosing two wonderful people and we wish them the best in the future.
