Stevens Auction Company will be conducting our annual New Year’s auction, comprised of over a thousand select and rare antiques from prominent Southern estates, as well as contents from the estate of the late Paul Dodds of West Plains, Missouri.

 

Highlights of the auction will include:  an important Mitchell & Rammelsberg half tester bed, ca. 1860; a solid mahogany, full tester Plantation bed, ca. 1840 (from Twin Oaks Plantation in Eutaw, Alabama); antique furniture by prolific craftsmen such as J.H. Belter, J. & J.W. Meeks, R.J. Horner, Charles Boudoine, and John Jelliff; Sterling silver; 17th century Chinese porcelains; 19th century antique lighting; palace-size Persian rugs; a collection of brilliant American cut glass pieces; early porcelains, including Sèvres, Meissen, Dresden, and Old Paris; choice assortment of art glass, including Moser; original works of art; and hundreds of other fine antique home furnishings.
