Stevens Auction Company is pleased to announce the commission to sell at public auction the living estate of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hudson of Birmingham, AL.  Frank and Sara Hudson are living legends in the antique auction business and were known nationwide when they operated as Hudson’s Antiques and Auctions for over 33 years.  Their home and place of business was in Limestone County between Athens and Decatur for many years, then retiring to Birmingham.  After many years in their large home in Chelsea, they are now downsizing and have decided to sell all their antiques and collectables.

Hundreds of rare items such as antique furniture, Herschedes grandfather clock and other old clocks, handmade Persian rugs, original works of art, brilliant cut glass, hand painted porcelains, early lighting, sterling, china and hundreds of collectibles plus a giant coin collection with hundreds of Confederate money pieces.  All the coins and Confederate money will sell on Friday night along with books, silver and a large assortment of unusual items.

Also in this auction we will be selling handpicked items from a prominent Vicksburg, MS Estate full of beautiful Victorian furniture and other Americana pieces.
