Sale of most of the contents of the Home of Hudson & Elizabeth Chadwick located in Georgetown, MS.  The late Hudson Chadwick was a Mississippi artist for years while working in the insurance Industry.  The Chadwick Family moved to Natchez in the 1940's. Hudson's mother began collecting antiques as many Natchez homes' contents came up for sale.  Hudson's wife, Elizabeth, descends from such early Natchez families as the Bowie's, Rouths etc. Mrs. Chadwick is relocating out of state and is selling many things. The collection is like stepping back into Mississippi history.  Some Furniture is from BOWIE family.

CIRCUS:  1940’s Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus Collection to be sold in 1 lot. This collection belonged to Hartman Moritz who left Natchez in 1930 to “Join the Circus”. Consisting of at least 10 original Ringling Bros Barnum & Bailey Circus Posters by artists (Bill Bailey & others).  There is a Large Photo album belonging to Walter McClain, an Elephant Trainer for the circus; includes  Loose photos from a fire disaster at Ringling Bros B & B Circus  in Atlanta, Georgia in 1944. The collection also includes correspondence.
