Saturday– 9am-2pm (no entry fee)

Sunday– 10am-2:30pm (no entry fee; everything half price) 

Welcome to one of the largest sales we have ever conducted. You will love the beautiful items at the home of this longtime Hattiesburg family. These guidelines will help this sale run smoothly and reduce wait times for everyone. Phase 2 will include the entire main house as well as all of the outbuildings, garage and outdoor/patio items. MANY new items to shop and explore! 

IMPORTANT!

1. PARKING only on one side of 40th Avenue. 

2. LIMITED HANDICAPPED ACCESS. Entry involves walking up a small hill in a wooded area. We will have a golf cart on site to assist shoppers who need help getting up the hill, but there will be a wait involved for this transport. Please be patient if you choose not to walk up & down the driveway yourself.

3. NO PRICES GIVEN IN ADVANCE.

4. MULTIPLE OUTBUILDINGS and SHEDS. (Don’t miss these large shopping areas.)

5. CashApp, Venmo, Check and cash accepted. We do not accept credit cards.

6. BRING HELP FOR LOADING. Extra moving help available for a $10 fee.

7. We will have waters available for sale on site. Please make sure to stay hydrated and safe! 

PARKING AND LOADING INSTRUCTIONS:

All vehicles must park on the west side of South 40th Ave (the same side the house is on). Traffic will flow one way, from north to south. You may park and walk to the gate to get in line. Line area will be roped off directly outside of the main driveway gate. We will have a gate attendant present to instruct/assist. If you purchase a large item (or a large quantity of items), you will be permitted to enter the gate and go to a designated loading area to collect your things. Please note! There is a semi-steep hill/driveway to the main house from the property gate that shoppers will have to walk. We will have golf carts to help carry shoppers who need assistance up and down the hill from the entry point to the house. If you need handicap access, please be patient and our golf cart operator will assist as he is able to. When exiting the property, go south toward Richburg Rd. You can turn around at Longwood subdivision or continue south toward Richburg Rd. Absolutely NO PARKING ALLOWED on the east side of 40th Ave (opposite side of the road from house). No parking will be allowed past the main gate (inside of the property) unless it is for pickup/loading of purchases. 

No prices given in advance. We will have an offer box at the checkout if you want to place an offer on any item. We will review the offer box on Sunday afternoon following the end of the sale and contact you if you’ve won something you offered on. 

Included in the photos here will be a map of the property for navigating once you get inside. There is a main house, garage, adjacent garage kitchen storage room, yard and patio area with outdoor items, large shed/wood shop behind the house, an extra shed/workshop space in the back of the woodshop building, a side bay area on the side of woodshop building with tools and yard items, an attached Christmas room (in the shed building; entry is to the left of the workshop main door), and a second storage shed located behind the main shed. There is also a chicken coop area with more yard items and planter/gardening supplies to the left down the path to the shed, behind the basketball goal. All of these areas will be available for shopping this weekend. We will have signage and a map available on site; please make note to explore all of the areas or else you might miss something! Main checkout counter and stash area will be located on the back porch. Enter the house through the garage at back of house (up and around the main front driveway). No entry/exit through the front door unless for approved loading of purchases. 

ACCEPTED FORMS OF PAYMENT: cash, check, cashapp and venmo. NO CARDS ACCEPTED! Please plan accordingly. MS sales tax charged on all purchases without a valid tax ID number. If you plan to use cashapp or venmo, please have it ready to use on your phone BEFORE you arrive at the checkout counter. We will have 2 main checkout lines: one for cash and check payments, and another for electronic payments (venmo or cashapp). 

SHED CHECKOUT SYSTEM: We will have an additional checkout counter near the woodshop/shed area. Please bring woodshop/shed/yard purchases to this counter. You will get a tally and a list, then you can purchase along with any other items (from main house/garage area) through the main checkout on the back porch. You will be able to leave your “shed stash” at the back/shed area checkout. Once you have paid, we will initial your tally sheet as PAID and you can retrieve your items from the shed stash. You will be able to drive your vehicle to this area for pickup after you purchase if needed. We will have main house stash near the main checkout at back porch/patio. You will NEED A NUMBER to have a stash in either location. We will give everyone numbers when they enter the shopping area. If you do not receive one, please ask a worker with a nametag on. Please use the same number for all stash piles. All staff will be wearing name tags; find a staffer to help you create your stash or carry things to your stash for you. 

FOR FURNITURE/LARGE ITEMS: we will have a 2-part tag attached to these; please let a staffer know if you would like to purchase or stash one of these and they will assist. You will need to have your portion of the tag present at checkout in order to purchase. This applies for only large/heavy items that are too big to place in stash. If it doesn’t have a 2-part “large item” tag, it can be added to your stash bin. Please do NOT pull tags on any large items you are not SURE you want to purchase! 

Throughout the weekend, we will have SOME loading/moving help on-site. If you are unable to load your purchase yourself and would like one of our staffers to assist, there will be an extra $10 fee for this service. Please let the register know if you would like this service as you are checking out/paying for your items. We can also accommodate later pickups if you would rather arrange to retrieve any heavy/bulky items on a later date. Please notify checkout of this and we will take your information.

You are responsible for keeping up with your purchases after you buy them! If they are being taken down the driveway by one of our workers, make sure you wrap your items together and send them on the golf cart yourself. We are not responsible for any purchases that get misplaced after you have checked out and paid. Label bags and boxes with your number, and give them to the driver yourself if you want them taken down the hill for you (you can also opt to ride in the golf cart with your purchases if you wish, just wait your turn). We will have more shoppers than available golf cart transport, so please help us make sure your purchases make it to your vehicle and that everything you pay for is accounted for when you leave. 

If you purchase a large item that needs to be picked up later, make sure one of our workers marks the item sold and puts your name on the sold sticker. We are not responsible for double-selling anything that is not properly marked sold (with name and number) at the time of purchase.
