​​​​​Rules for Bidding

1. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you are the winning bidder, you are committed to purchasing and picking up your item(s) or making shipping arrangements. Payments are required via PayPal within 24 hours of auction's close.
2. If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked and you will be reported. Please do not bid if you do not plan to purchase.
3. If you bid, you MUST be available to pick up your purchases on the scheduled pick up date unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. No loading assistance is available - please bring help and tools for large items!  Please bring containers, packing supplies, etc.  Please come prepared to remove your items.
4. Invoices will be sent out once the sale has completely closed. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice and must be paid by Wednesday, February 24th, at noon.
5. Payments must be made via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay through PayPal, just a credit or debit card.
6. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours of the auction's close, your items may be resold or donated, and your bidding privileges will be revoked.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!  COMMUNICATION IS A MUST!!!
7. Shipping is available at the buyer's expense. We use USPS Mail & UPS.  PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE BIDDING to make sure your item(s) can be shipped. After your sale invoice is paid, you will receive a separate PayPal invoice for shipping charges. Depending on the size of the sale and amount of shipping, it may be several days after pickup before you receive your shipping invoice. Buyer pays $10/lot handling fee which includes packing & shipping material.  Any shipping and insurance will be an additional charge.  *Please Note: Shipping can be expensive. Please take that into consideration when placing a bid. Failure to pay for an item due to shipping cost may result in account suspension, and failure to pay for shipping will result in your item(s) being considered abandoned property and resold/donated with no refund.
8. If you require shipping, please send an email to clunn@caringtransitions.com so we know not to expect you at pickup.
9. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped.
10. The exact address of the pickup will be on the invoice.
11. Any items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold, if prior arrangements are not made.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!!  COMMUNICATION IS A MUST!!! If items are transported to a different location due to failure to pick up during the scheduled time, a $25 per lot transport fee will be charged..
12. A 15% buyer's premium and 7% sales tax will be added to the bid amount.
13. We have made every effort to describe this item as accurately as possible with any defects. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate. Unless specifically stated otherwise in the description, estate jewelry has not been appraised by a jeweler. All markings are described as observed.
