Stevens Auction Company is pleased to announce the commission to offer at public auction the estate of the late Betsy Stark of Starkville, Ms. The auction will be onsite at her home located at 400 Greensboro Street where she lived her entire life and passed away last year at 103 years old.  Ms. Betsy was born in 1916 shortly after the new home was completed in 1913. Many items in the home are from family plantations throughout Mississippi and Louisiana and have been in place for over a hundred years.  Many items from Mississippi State along with Starkville history will also be sold.  Mrs. Stark worked as a librarian for almost forty years. Her father taught at Mississippi A&M for fifty two years which later became Mississippi State University.  

Open house will be Thursday and Friday, June 25-26 from 10:00 - 6:00 pm each day. Doors will open at 8:00 am on June 27, 2020; auction starts at 10:00 am CDT.  A mask is required at open  house due to Covid-19.  Seating arrangement with social distancing on auction day.
