Two of the nicest people you could ever meet, Roy & Jean Slater ran Back Roads Antiques for 27 years until Roy passed in 2012. Their love of collecting and preserving history lead them into the antique business. The business then enabled them to expand their collection. Back Roads Antiques was generally open only on weekends unless of course they were traveling the country on a buying trip. We remember running across their shop in the early 1980's while exploring the country roads of Oktibbeha County.

When we became auctioneers in 1999, Roy and Jean soon became regulars at our sales.  Among their private collection we were astonished to recognize a number of items we had sold at auction many years ago. Literally 1000's of Items to be sold in this 1st sale. We will be Selling a Large Part of their Private Collection (all moved to the shop) Plus the Collectibles &  Show Cases in the Shop!
