Terms & Conditions

First come, first served. The first person to arrive with the intention of staying until the sale starts is #1, and starts the list. The second person to arrive with the intention of staying puts his/her name on "the list", and is #2, and so on. You don't have to stand on the sidewalk - you can sit in your car- but if you put your name on the list and leave, you will lose your spot. Line up according to the list at about 7:50, and the sale will start at 8 a.m.

We accept cash, checks and credit cards with proper id. Tag sale items are for the most part either vintage/used; they are sold "as is", and cannot be returned. No previews or early sales. We try to keep plenty of packing paper and boxes on hand for our buyers. Please bring help to load furniture. Purchases must be picked up by the end of the sale, unless other arrangements are made with us. Neither we nor the homeowner will be held responsible for accidents. Well-behaved children are ALWAYS welcome at our sales.

Please join Gay Gasper Estate Sales Team for our first estate tag sale of 2015 - a very nice house in Burlington, full of beautiful art, nice furniture, jewelry and contemporary household furnishings.

ART:  Four large original paintings by Jill Troutman (Iris, Hydrangea, Geranium, plus a lovely two-piece Geisha Girl), other small Jill Troutman works.  Wonderful "Amazing Grace" acrylic on canvas by Burlington artist Tommie Griffin.  Stephen White panel and lamp.   Two original watercolors by Laurel Geyer.  Other original art and prints.   Hand turned wood bowls (Roy Fisher, Wayne Southworth).  Crystalline pottery vase by Phil Morgan.  Large Raku pottery orb.

 

FURNITURE:  Henkel-Harris lingerie chest, bedroom chests, bedside tables, all in black cherry.   Carved oak dining room set.  Nice glass and metal dining table with great contemporary chairs by Johnston Casuals.  Hancock & Moore easy chair and ottoman.  Two office desks.  Several pairs of bedroom chairs in cute contemporary fabric.  Couch in nice neutral color.  

 

HOME FURNISHINGS AND ACCESSORIES:   lovely antique firescreen front, carved chess set, lovely copper and stone wall fountain in dining room, lamps, mirrors, contemporary pottery, rugs in attractive contemporary designs (see photos), sheepskin throw from New Zealand, contemporary pottery, kitchen and garage stuff.


MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS:   check out our photos of the vintage Gibson trapdoor banjo and Yamaha FG-110 acoustic guitar.

 

EXERCISE EQUIPMENT:   Fantastic PowerPlate My3 vibrating exercise platform (look it up!), Specialized ladies' bike, Pilates and yoga equipment.

 

JEWELRY:  (kept offsite until morning of sale)  Nice assortment of 14K rings with opal, pearls, garnets, etc.   18K gold Egyptian amulet.   Chanel earrings.   Sterling silver jewelry.  Nice contemporary costume jewelry. 

 

CDS - BOOKS:   a bin of cds (see photo), smattering of videos, mostly exercise/yoga.   Sorry book buyers, just a small assortment of books this time.    No albums. 

MISCELLANEOUS:   BIG collection of green depression glass, including a great Greek Key pattern oil lamp, and lots in the Princess pattern.   Singer Featherweight sewing machine.   Sessions clock.   Late 1970s Atari console with a few games.  HappyLight Deluxe (look it up...).    Stone fruit in jade, amethyst and lapis.   Closet full of cute clothes, shoes, handbags.  Some garage (file cabinets, storage, smattering of tools).   Kitchen stuff.   Christmas decorations.  Linens, towels, blankets.   Office furnishing and supplies, including a great wood file cabinet.   Patio furniture and yard ornaments.
