As of February 2020, North Carolina mandates the collection of a 7.25% sales tax on estate sales.
This requirement is enforced by state law, necessitating that we charge sales tax and remit it on a monthly basis.

We do not accept tax-exempt status due to the number of resellers. Reporting these transactions to North Carolina is time-consuming, requiring extensive paperwork. However, we can provide a printed receipt from THRIFTY BLONDE ESTATE SALES showing your subtotal and taxes paid for your state tax credit. Thank you for your understanding!

All sales are final. All items are sold as-is, so please inspect them carefully before completing your purchase.

Please bring your own packaging & boxes. We might have some, but a very limited supply.

We are unable to move or load large or heavy furniture or other heavy items due to restrictions set forth by our insurance policy.
We kindly ask for your understanding in this matter. It is not a question of unwillingness to assist; rather, we are constrained by our liability insurance.

Not Responsible for Accidents.

Any items that have been paid for but not collected by the end of the sale, unless alternative arrangements are made, will be forfeited and donated to our charity, which will pick them up the following Monday.
