“I'll try and tell about my 55 Ford Crown Victoria the best I can from memory, I purchased this car from an estate sale in 2008, when I received it I immediately starting working and rebuilding it.
started with the replacement of new parts from front cross member back throughout the frame, upgrading making stronger. Front wend has been overhauled with all new parts, bushings etc.
The steering was converted to Power steering with Forest River steering column and steering wheel. Front brakes converted to Power Disc all new brake lines throughout.
New gas tank and lines with inline filter. New aluminum radiator etc.
The Engine is a 312 Y-block, with Elderbrock 3/4 camshaft, Mallory ignition with rev-limiter, 390 Holley carburetor oversize jets, a McCullough Super Charger (V7) That was NEW when I purchased it, since I've had it gone through by a California company to check out due to the age of just sitting on a shelf in a Studebaker Dealer in Georgia.
It has a Tremac 5 speed transmission that has also been rebuilt, along with a Ford 373 gear rear end that has also been gone through. has 71 Thunderbird bucket seats re-upholistered, car is painted a deep red and bright white enamel.
All the chrome is good inside and out.
radio new along with satellite speedometer and other gauges.
Car is Air Conditioned with Vintage Air with Dashboard vents along with heater.
This car is an Excellent driver in first class shape, capable of driving coast to coast.
It is a GREAT and FUN CAR TO DRIVE, keeps up with traffic anywhere.”
