A Durham Treasure Hunt Unlike Anything We've Seen This Year
Some estate sales are predictable.
This is not one of those sales.
From the outside, it's a townhouse.
A perfectly respectable, HOA-approved, Durham townhouse.
Inside?
It looks like someone spent decades quietly assembling a collection that would make antique dealers stop mid-sentence and say:
"Wait...what is THAT?"
And the star of the show?
π₯ An Eastlake Spirit Cooler.
Now before anyone gets excited, noβit doesn't summon ghosts.
It was the Victorian equivalent of a high-end wet bar. Found in elegant dining rooms, these pieces held ice to keep liquors and spirits cool during dinner service. In other words, rich people have been inventing fancy ways to chill their drinks for a very long time.
And this one?
It's spectacular.
The family is incredibly proud of both this collection and the gentleman who assembled it over the yearsβand once you see it, you'll understand why.
Because throughout this home you'll find:
πͺ Eastlake & Victorian Furniture
πͺ Antique Pieces with actual age and history
π Waterford Crystal
π½οΈ Jewel Tea China
π΅ Flow Blue
β¨ Limoges
π§ Fenton
π§ Tom Clark Gnomes & Figurines

...and enough collectibles to keep treasure hunters busy for hours.
The whole sale has that wonderful "how did all of THIS fit in here?" energy.
The answer is simple:
Very carefully.
π TRAIL CONDITIONS π
Campers...
We're going to be honest.
Parking is going to be a competitive sport.
This is an HOA townhouse community with VERY limited parking.
Not "slightly inconvenient."
Not "park around the corner."
More like:
ποΈ "May the odds be ever in your favor."
Please carpool if possible.
Please be patient.
Please do not block driveways.
Please do not create your own parking spaces.
The HOA would prefer that we all remain friends.
