Terms and Conditions: We follow the usual time-tested Chapel Hill Saturday earlybird tag sale line-up method where the first shopper to arrive AND STAY starts the list. That person is #1. Subsequent arrivals who are going to stay and wait, add your name to the list. You can go sit in your car, but don't leave or you will lose your place. Your friends can put their names on the list when they show up in person. We will hand out Saturday early bird numbers at 7 a.m.; once you have an early bird number, you can leave, go get coffee, etc., returning in time to line up according to the list at ten minutes till start time. Line up at the BACK DOOR of the house - at the screened porch - for this sale.

We accept cash, checks and credit cards with proper id. Tag sale items are are sold "as is", and cannot be returned. We keep plenty of packing paper and boxes on hand for our buyers. Please bring help to load furniture. Purchases must be picked up by the end of the sale. Neither we nor the homeowner can or will be held responsible for accidents. Well-behaved children are ALWAYS welcome at our sales.

Our August 24 - 25 sale - a true estate sale in the Hope Valley Country Club neighborhood - has got it all!

large collection of vintage Franciscan "Desert Rose" china.... in addition to the typical plates, cups, saucers... how about a cookie jar? coffee grinder? clock? tureen? We keep finding more.

jewelry and fine smalls, including Asprey, Tiffany, etc. (note to potential burglars and scam artists: all jewelry and silver is stored offsite until the sale day. Security will be onsite. We will limit the number of shoppers in the jewelry room. All sales are final with no refunds, will require ID, and your purchases will be recorded. )

Car sale details: first come, first serve Saturday morning - price is $4,800 - we will release the car with provisional title for cash payment in full on Saturday, or buyer can hold car for $500 cash nonrefundable deposit and arrange to meet next week at a local bank to pay remainder and receive car and title to complete transaction.
