Terms

1. All items sold as is where is with all faults. There are no warranties or guarantees of any kind either expressed or implied. All sales are final. We do not give refunds. A preview time has been provided for your careful inspection. You are bidding on your own expertise. If you have any doubts about an item we would encourage you not to bid on it. Auctions a set to stagger closing of 15 seconds and a soft close of two minutes will apply per lot discouraging auction sniping.
2. Payment must be made using American Express/MasterCard/Visa/Discover. Due to current Covid-19 only credit cards will be allowed for purchases. All balances will be paid before auction items will be allowed to leave. All currency is under USD.
3. There is a 15% Buyers Premium added to each purchase as part of the purchase price. North Carolina sales tax is applicable unless you are exempt and have supplied the Auction Company with proper documentation PRIOR TO CLOSE OF AUCTION.
4. The auctioneer is the sole judge in the event of a disputed bid. The auctioneer may reopen the bidding at his or her discretion. The highest/successful bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser and thereupon assumes full risk and responsibility and will pay full price for the said lot.
5. All items are subject to a minimum or reserve bid. The owner(s) of the items and his or her representative are not allowed to bid on the items offered for auction.
7. Pick up time for the auction items posted for the auction are set. It is the responsibility of the the buyer(s) to pick up items at the specific place, date, and time advertised in the auction listing. All paid for items must be removed within 5 business days unless other arrangements are made prior to the sale. Items not picked up the day advertised for pick up; will be charged $5.00 per day storage fee. Items left for more than 30 days will be sold at auction by Gander & Gavel Auction Co., LLC.
8. UNPAID INVOICES: unpaid items will be forfeited if bidder makes no attempt (or answer contact attempts by the auction company) to immediately remedy the situation in a timely manner. Unpaid forfeited items will be resold at subsequent auction. Bidders who choose not to follow the terms and conditions risk permanent denial to participate in future auctions.
9.BUYERS are responsible for removal of items and providing own packing and transport materials for items purchased. Auction company cannot aid in the removal or packing of items from/at pick up location.
10. Announcements made the day of the sale supersede and take precedence over any previous announcements or advertisements.
