This is the estate of Paul Roland Sr. who was the Manager of Southside Hardware, power tool division. The store was adjacent to Southside Hardware on Elm Street in Downtown Greensboro. He eventually retired from there after 40 years. Over the decades, he amassed an incredible collection of tools, as you will see at this sale. He was a highly skilled woodworker and had every tool imaginable, big and small!
Mr. Roland was the scoutmaster of Troop 254 for 55 years. His personal achievements are evidenced by the awards and honors he received throughout his life. He was a member of The Order of the Arrow. He received his Wood badge Beads in 1972, and his Silver Beaver Award in 1976. Under his leadership, 50 young scouts made it to the rank of Eagle. His collection of Boy Scout memorabilia is astonishing!
Mr. Roland was a member of The National Exchange Club for 14 years where he served 9 of those years on the Board of Directors. He was also a Master Mason in Lodge Number 76, a member of the Scottish Rite, and an Oasis Shriner since 1972. Additionally, he was a member of Gideon International.
THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE ESTATE THAT YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS!!!
