Forget the Man Cave, Bill Lashley got the whole house!  Mr. Lashley spent all of his 93 years in Asheville, Mills River, and Hendersonville.  After graduation from Lee-Edwards (Asheville) High School, he served in the US Army and then attended Lees-McRae and NC State. His career was in the furniture industry and he was a master woodworker and draftsman for Three Mountaineers, a unique home decor firm begun in the 1930s in Asheville whose items are prized and collected today.  And the best part is that he saved everything!  All the decades are represented in his collecting and organized stashes (get a load of the basement workshop!).
