More details and photos to come. Check back in a couple of days for more WW2 items -- Army Pilot with the 'Hellbirds' unit - 462nd bombardment unit who flew B-29s. We have the items of Waldo Knox McGill, Jr. AKA "Dub". He was a dentist from Clover, SC, and all of the evidence we've found shows he was a pilot in the Army Air Force. He made it out of the war, but died about 10 years later after a year-long battle with Leukemia. He was 35. His brother, John (who was a public health aid in the war...
