We welcome you to the tag sale. A few suggestions:
Please bring adequate help if you need assistance with loading heavy purchases.
Cash is preferred. Credit cards are accepted (if you agree to pay the bank service fee) and the new policy of over $50. per transaction.
We, and the homeowner, are not responsible for accidents, injury, or damage.
It is recommended that you bring your own tote bags, boxes, and packing paper.
All items are sold "as is" and there are no returns.
***Preparing for a sale is more labor intensive than you are aware of so it's not possible to answer individual questions ~ especially regarding prices.
This tag sale may very well be our largest of the year! There is so much furniture that the house looks like a furniture store showroom!
The sale will feature furniture for every room of the house including an impressive 8 ft. dining table with 8 upholstered chairs, a massive pine hutch, an assortment of several leather sofas & chairs, multiple bedroom sets, sectional sofa, various coffee & end tables, leather swivel barstools, game table with 4 cane chairs, bookcases & shelves, outdoor furniture, etc...
Plus ~ glass top dining table with metal base & 8 metal chairs by Carson, two antique full size beds, antique bow-front cabinet, all styles of tables/shelves/desks
There will be plenty of home decor items: bronze sculptures, large area rugs, artwork, Winchester sculpture, lamps, a variety of mirrors, glassware including Waterford crystal (Lismore), and lots of decorative accessories including a 6 foot tall cigar store wooden Indian!
Also: Big Green Egg grill, outdoor patio furniture, lake “toys”, remote control cars, paint gun equipment, boating supplies, fitness equipment & hand weights, 5 ft long remote controlled boat, record albums, German nutcrackers, Christmas decorations, men’s clothes, ladies fur jackets & St. John’s clothing.... more to be added as our set-up process continues!
This 6200 square-foot house (on 5 waterfront acres!) is to be demolished in order to subdivide the property.
Partial list of the demo items for sale: Plantation shutters in various sizes, over 25 handmade pottery light fixtures (by Donald Schnell), kitchen cabinets, appliances, subzero refrigerator, bathroom vanities, staircase handrails, porch railings, flagstone walkway, cement stone block retaining walls, Spanish-style clay roof tiles, windows, doors ~ the list goes on and on!
***Important notice: several of the “demo” items (kitchen counter & cabinets, refrigerator, appliances, washer/dryer & AC) will not be removed at the time of the tag sale since the house will still be occupied. Arrangements for removal will be made at a later date. *Plantation shutters, light fixtures, railings, hot-tub, and possibly other items can be removed this weekend or early next week.
Please check back for updates (with final additions & deletions) on Friday evening.
Line-up numbers will be on the front porch at 8 AM Saturday and at noon on Sunday. Entry will be limited to 40 shoppers at a time.
