NOTE: This is a small house with a huge record and book collection. There will be a yard sale on Friday to make some room inside. The yard sale will consist of a few hundred albums, none art related books and some posters. The yard sale portion will be cancelled if it rains.
COLLECTIBLES: Oak dresser, c. 1920; oak bed; advertising tins; Coke sign; two great Horikawa robots; Lionel train; cap pistols; Mickey Mouse, etc.; Hopalong Cassidy badge and buttons; Buddy L trucks; hundreds of Silver and Bronze age comics; vintage magazines; hippy stuff; movie posters; Peter Max posters; postcards; political and other pinback buttons; large collection of early soda bottles; book and record cases; Mr. Peanut; bakelite Michelin man; tin toys; Four Aces pinball; much more.
RECORDS: A huge and comprehensive collection of albums including rock, early psychedelic, a massive collection of early blues and jazz, great early bluegrass, country and folk. This is not the normal record collection found in estates, it was assembled over four decades and includes all major groups as well as obscure and seminal artists. There are rare labels, imports, record station releases, promotionals and imports. This is an opportunity to fill some holes in your collection and find some music you may not see again.
MUSIC RELATED: Original 1960’s concert posters from Bill Graham’s Fillmore West, Family Dog productions and others, a huge collection of concert postcards by Family Dog and Bill Graham. Also, Rolling Stones, Elvis and other concert programs, Batle and Elvis cards, early Beatle memorabilia, Rolling Stones cut out promotion, bags of pinback buttons.
EPHEMERA: Very rare psychedelic poster from a 1967 Raleigh “human be-in,” a 1967 copy of the San Francisco Oracle covering the first hippy human be-in, alternative comics, hippy related paperbacks, theater posters, way too much to list.
LIBRARY: A massive collection of great books on all eras and genre of art. All are in great condition; many appear unread.
