Everything But Grannies' Panties
Description & Details
The former resident of this Cameron Park home has moved to Chicago to be close to family and is unable to take everything from this lovely old home with her. One item of note is a mahogany gryphon bench and mirror (RJ Horner & Co.) which was a wedding present to her Grandparents. Orville A. Park was a lawyer, legislator, author, and professor from Macon Georgia. His wife, Elmyr Taylor Park, was the child of a prominent businessman credited with saving Macon from financial disaster in the early 1900's.
A horse collection, theatrical posters, and numerous books belonged to her husband, John T (Jack) Hall, a professor, lawyer, and actor well known at the Raleigh Little Theater and Theater in the Park. Also available is a stamp and postcard collection as well as many other decorative and useful things.
