This is a fantastic sale with a house full of antiques, handcrafted reproductions, sterling, cut glass, collectibles, toys, apothecary bottles, far too much to adequately list with 1,500 items inventoried already and more rooms to go.
In addition to the house furnishings, this sale includes the owner’s advanced collection of knives assembled over many years. The knife collection is extensive and just has to be seen as there are hundreds of knives and swords.
ANTIQUES AND REPRODUCTIONS: Walnut Victorian dresser with a concealed iron safe, oak china cabinet with lion’s paw feet, great Victorian music cabinet, early NC Empire sideboard, marble top dresser and washstand, beautiful handcrafted Chippendale secretary/bookcase, handcrafted china press, handcrafted Queen Anne style table and chairs, vitrine, 1940’s dresser and tables, king-size tester bed, modern dressers, chairs by Hickory, plant stand, many dressers and tables.
STERLING: Vases, candlesticks, bowls, repousse by S. Kirk and Sons, salt and pepper shakers and more.
ALSO: Great cut glass with some signed Hawkes, fine oak tantalus, Tiffany style lamps, early cut glass vases made into lamps, highest quality silverplated serving pieces, walnut mantle clock, Elastolin soldiers, porcelains, Barbie and Midge in case, large collection of apothecary jars, prints, books, Troemner apothecary scales, Tonka toys,tools, look at the images.

THE KNIFE COLLECTION
The collection includes custom made knives by the finest knife makers, an extensive collection of US World War 2 knives and hundreds of modern knives by the best manufacturers. Highlights include:
Twenty of the best custom made knives by Boone master bladesmith Daniel Winkler (http://www.winklerknives.com). Winkler’s work is world renowned and he has a four year waiting period at this time.
Two early 1980’s knives by Randall.
Two vintage Rudy Ruana knives, both with brass parrying strips.
An extensive collection of Collins #18 survival knives with several variations by rare makers. An extremely rare numbered example with a green horn handle is included. This is one of about 20 known extant examples from the first 1,000 knives ordered by the Marines for Carlson’s Marine Raiders. The equally rare New Zealand made “Gung Ho” raider knife is also in the collection, as well as ones by Kinfolk and Western.
There are many M3, M4, M5 and M6 fighting knives/bayonets, Navy Mark 2, KA-BARS, and Nam era Western bowie, much more.
Finally, about 300 folding and fixed blade knives by Gerber, Cold Steel, Case, Spyderma, Bench Made, and other makers like Shatt & Morgan, Colonel Coon, Remington.
