All items are sold as is, where is with no implied or expressed warranties or guarantees. All sales are final.
Accepted forms of payment are cash, approved check, and credit/debit cards with a 3% transaction fee on cards.
A 7% sales tax will be added to all purchases unless you have a N.C. sales tax exemption form to hand to the clerk.
No food or drinks permitted inside the sale.
No pets please.
We reserve the right to restrict the number of customers inside the venue at any time.
No prices will be given out prior to the sale.
Customer is responsible for packing and carrying purchases. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please bring your own bags and packing materials. Please bring your own personnel for packing and loading large items.
All purchases must be removed by the end of the sales day.
There are no public restrooms.
Person attending sale assumes all risks related to the sale (before, during and after) including personal injury. Attendee releases the property owners and Rediscoveries, LLC, and their representatives and agents from any and all claims.

A sign up sheet will go out at 7:00 am on Saturday.

Description & Details

There will be a Preview Afternoon on Friday, the 17th, 3:00 until 6:00 pm.A grouping of North Carolina pottery, artifacts, furniture and books that relate to Moravian and North Carolina history. Objects from Bethabara, Bethania, Salem, Forsyth County and Piedmont North Carolina. Items are from private collections in the area.

A couple of Aust jugs from the first period, Christ, Butner, Shaffner and others are represented by the pottery. Other artisans, i. e. John Vogler.  Art by Stuart Archibald.

Additional: Modern Salem, NC china, bottles from Devotion, Long Creek Lodge, other pottery.
