The Estate of The Late Charles William Loftin - A Gentleman of The Carolina's. Mr. Loftin resided in both North and South Carolina. He was a person of vast knowledge about Southern antiques. In the late 1960’s and early 1970’s he was the co-publisher of Southern Antiques and Interiors magazine. He met many writers and artists during this period and developed friendships with artists Bob Timberlake of Davidson County, Elizabeth O’Neill Verner of Charleston, SC, and Walter Anderson of Mississippi. Winstead's Auction is Honored to present his lifetime collection at auction.
