Is honored to announce the online only auction of the important African American Artifact Collection of The Late Derrick Joshua Beard. Beard was a world renowned artist and collector, who amassed an important and impressive collection of African American Artifacts including Thomas Day Furniture, Henry Boyd Bedsteads, Slave Made Primitive Chairs, Baskets, Original Art, Photographs, Slave Documents, and Many Other Items of Historical Significance. Many of these pieces were on exhibit in museums in Raleigh, North Carolina and New Orleans, Louisiana.
