1. Payment Information — To bid or list an item, you must have valid payment information on file. By entering your card details, you authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card for the total purchase amount of any winning bids, plus applicable taxes and the standard buyer’s premium. You agree to maintain valid payment information while your account is active and confirm you are authorized to use the provided card. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, Caring Transitions may suspend your bidding privileges and pursue collection, including late fees permitted by law.
2. Commitment to Purchase — Placing a bid is a binding agreement. If you are the winning bidder, you are responsible for paying for and picking up your item(s), or making approved shipping/delivery arrangements. Please do not bid unless you intend to complete the purchase.
3. Bidding retractions will NOT be performed within 3 hours of auction close,
4. Pickup Requirements — Winning bidders must pick up purchases during the scheduled pickup window, unless prior arrangements for shipping/delivery have been made. Buyers must bring their own tools and help to move large or heavy items. Loading assistance is not provided, and some items may be located on stairs, basements, or outbuildings.

6. If you cannot attend during the scheduled pickup time, you must contact us prior to pickup. Alternative arrangements are not guaranteed. If granted, a $50 fee will apply to schedule pickup of items not at our studio.
7. Lots not picked up from our studio on the designated day will be subject to a $10 storage fee after 7 days after the original designated date.
8. Items not pickup within 7 days , WITHOUT COMMUNICATION FROM BUYER, will be considered forfeited and no refunds issued.
9. Invoices & Payments — Receipts are emailed once the sale closes and payment is secured. Invoices under $5,000 will be automatically charged to the primary card on file. Invoices over $5,000 will be charged a 10% deposit, with the balance due before pickup or shipping. Items cannot be released until invoices are paid in full.
10. Shipping is only available for items specifically designated as “Available for Shipping.” Items marked “Pickup Only” will not be shipped under any circumstances unless prior arrangements have been made directly with Caring Transitions of Greater Omaha before the auction closes.
11. Items requiring professional packing due to size, weight, fragility, or unusual shape may require third-party shipping through our local UPS Store. These items will be identified in the lot description, and the buyer must coordinate packing, shipping method, insurance, and payment directly with UPS. All related charges are paid directly to UPS.
12. For items eligible for standard shipping, Packing & Handling fees apply and are based on the size and number of boxes required to safely pack the items. Actual carrier shipping charges are billed separately.
13. Shipping costs may exceed the winning bid price, particularly for fragile or multi-item lots. By placing a bid, buyers agree to pay all applicable packing, handling, and shipping charges. Full shipping policies, pricing, and timelines are provided in the Shipping section.
14. Failure to Pay or Collect — If payment is not received or items are not collected during the scheduled pickup, purchases will be forfeited and resold or donated. No refunds will be given.

Dimensions provided may be approximate.

Pickup scheduled for Tuesday, May 12 between 3-6pm at our Bellevue Studio, 68005
Large multi-lot estate with art, jewelry, collectibles, and household items. Includes oil paintings, prints, mirrors, and framed works; vintage and costume jewelry groups (necklaces, brooches, earrings, watches); porcelain (Lenox, Bernardaud), pottery, glass, crystal, paperweights, and decorative pieces. Collectibles include die-cast cars, Disney figurines, Schmid plates, Baoding balls, milk bottles, and religious items. Electronics include GPX stereo, Fire HD 10 tablet and Fitbit (new). Toys include Kenner Aliens, Star Wars, Marvel cards, Wii games, LEGO, Tonka. Also clothing, linens, baskets, boxes, and tools.

- Items are clearly designated as either shippable or pickup only. Items marked as pickup only will not be shipped under any circumstances unless you have made arrangments with us DIRECTLY AND PRIOR TO AUCTION CLOSE.
- If you purchase a pickup-only item and later require shipping, the sale will not be canceled and no refund will be issued.
THIRD PARTY SHIPPING
- Certain items that are large, heavy, fragile, or unusually shaped may require professional packing and shipping. These items will be identified in the lot description.
- In addition, while an individual lot may be eligible for in-house shipping, combined purchases may exceed size, weight, or fragility limits and require third-party shipping at our discretion.
- For these items, shipping must be arranged directly with our local UPS Store.

- The buyer will work directly with UPS to coordinate packing, shipping method, insurance, and payment.
- Once arrangements have been confirmed with UPS, the item will be delivered to the UPS Store or made available for pickup by UPS.
- All packing, shipping, insurance, and related charges are paid directly to UPS. Caring Transitions of Greater Omaha does not pack, ship, or invoice for these items.
- Items requiring third-party shipping must be coordinated within 5 days of the auction close or will be subject for forteiture.
STANDARD PACKING & SHIPPING
- Packing & Handling Fees. Packing & Handling covers labor, packing materials, and standard box costs required to safely prepare items for shipment.
- Packing & Handling Fees are charged for each box required to safely pack your items. If your purchase requires multiple boxes, the fee will be applied to each box used.
- Small Box — $20
- Boxes up to approximately 14 inches on the longest side.
- Medium Box — $35
- Boxes approximately 15–18 inches on the longest side.
- Large Box — $50
- Boxes approximately 18–24 inches on the longest side.
- Oversized Box — $80
- Boxes over approximately 24 inches or items requiring very large cartons or extensive packing materials.
- Specialty Boxes
- If an item requires a specialty or custom box (for example artwork boxes or reinforced cartons), the cost of the box will be added to the applicable packing and handling fee.
- Very large, fragile, or unusually shaped items may require custom packing and will be quoted individually.
- Items may be combined when safe to do so; fragile items may require separate boxes.
- Shipping Charges.
- Actual carrier shipping charges (USPS or UPS) are billed separately and are in addition to Packing & Handling Fees.
- Important: Shipping costs may exceed the winning bid price, particularly for fragile, heavy, or multi-item lots. Please bid accordingly.
- All items above $100 are insured at buyer’s expense. Signature upon delivery is required for any purchases that exceed $250.
- We are unable to provide shipping estimates.
- Your winning bid is commitment to follow through with shipping. If a buyer chooses to forfeit the item due to concerns about shipping costs, the handling fee will still apply. Handling fees are non-refundable and are incurred upon placing an order, irrespective of whether the order is ultimately shipped or not. Failure to pay this fee will result in your account being suspended.
- Shipping is typically started the Monday or Tuesday after local pickup is completed. Shipping invoices are sent via CTBids. You will see a link to approve the invoice and we will complete payment using the card registered on CTBids.
- Please allow up to 21 days for shipping to take place.
- Please make sure your address is updated in CTBids BEFORE placing a bid. Items will be shipped to the address that appears on your invoice for that auction. If you have not updated your address, Caring Transitions is not liable for items sent to the wrong address.
