Description & Details
Come join us for a sale of high quality items rarely collected by one family. This estate is a history of world travels to more that 100 countries. Represented by works of art, sculpture, antiques and a desire to surround oneself with tokens of past experiences has created this fabulous sale.
As an example you will see a 400 year old processional wood Nicho from Mexico containing a large wood carving of the Virgin Mary. Or if your interest is of the Orient there is a 19th century wood Japanese altar table. Meanwhile a juxtaposition of interest can be expressed through sculptures like "Patience"; a contemporary marble piece by JK Inson. Bronze works by Michael Aram, Frederick Hart and James G. Moore.
And on a smaller scale we have works by Jay Strongwater; large crystal pieces by Swarovski, Daum, Baccarat and Simon Pearce; porcelains from Lladro, Sergio Bustamonte and Herend.
There are hand carved Santa figures and enamel boxes from Russia; Japanese wood block prints, wood carved statues by Joseph Ascension Lopez and Rubi Fuentes. Native American and African beadwork. There are many wood carvings from tribal face masks from New Guinea to a large multi-part wood lion sculpture by Thomas Thomas.
An antique Mexican oil painting is found among other paintings by Paula Wallace, Mangula, Omari Amonde, "Black Hat" by Ben Wright, Phyllis Craig, Miguel Martinez, Gene Roncka and so many more.
Holiday decorating by MacKenzie-Childs, Drolleries by Mark Roberts, Glass Eye Studio, Christopher Radko are just a few producers of a large collection of Christmas ornaments available here.
Please see our small photo representation of this sale. We could not possibly list all the artists and types of works at this sale. There is furniture too like a Stanley King Bed and a mid-century Kimball desk and credenza. Gorham Theme Gold China, Lenox Scalamandre Zebra China, Pottery Barn dinnerware, Juliska Country Estate China. Waterford and Hawkes stemware. Le Creuset cookware, small appliances from KitchenAid.
