603 Estate Sales has been asked to host the Estate sale of the contents of Mr. Donald Hall at his family’s ancestral 200+ homestead residence in Wilmot NH., known as "Eagle Pond Farm."
Donald Hall was a Giant in American Poetry, an author of over 50 books across several genres from children's literature, biography, memoir, essays, and including 22 volumes of verse. In 1991, Hall was Awarded the Robert Frost Medal. In 2006 The Library of Congress appointed Hall 14th Poet Laureate Of The United States. In 2010 President Barack Obama awarded Hall the National Medal of the Arts at the White House.
Donald Hall's Family has lived in this iconic home from the 1800's and this Estate is FULL FULL FULL! Over the past couple months our crew has been working day after day to unearth things from the most far sections of the attic, to the depths of the cellar, to the huge post and beam barn. So many of the things inside this sale are the very things that gave Hall the motivation for his work, so many actual items in this sale are things he wrote about!
This is truly an amazing once of a lifetime Estate Sale. From hundreds of Signed Books from Hall, or from many other very well known Authors! (Authors often do book "Swapping" signing their books and sending it to each other.) TONS of Antiques everywhere you look! Because this home has been in the family for Hundreds of Years, there are many items dating back to the 1800's! Even many "one of" items that were owned by Mr. Hall, as well as pieces from this late Wife, Jane Kenyon; Poet and Author.
Here is your one chance to shop this Incredible weekend long event! We will open doors at 9am. Saturday, and close at 2pm. Sunday, we will open at 10am., allowing you to take Mom out for breakfast, and come get deals until 2pm. Sunday.
Saturday is "full price" day, Come back Sunday and load up for "Discount" day.

WAGON / OX-CART: Who knew the writer of "Ox-Cart Man" would have an Ox-Cart the closely resembles the one in the book! Wow! This wagon is in incredible condition based on it's vintage! It was completely covered from the elements under the barn for many decades. Our team was able to push it out fairly easily as the wheels and axle are in great shape and it rolled very out very nicely! What a beauty!

Attendance: We expect a massive turnout to this once in a lifetime sale. The house is VERY FULL with goodies, but we will let in the most shoppers at one time that we deem is accurate based on safety. Our highest priority is the safety of our shoppers. Please do not be grumpy with us if you roll out of bed late and have to wait in line. The early bird absolutely gets the worm. If you really want your best chance at getting in right when we open, we recommend arriving very early in the morning many hours before we open. If you don't like crowds or waiting, we recommend coming later in the day. If you arrive hours before we open, we just ask for you NOT to walk the property and to stay BEHIND our open/closed sign. Anyone not abiding to this will be asked to leave. Cameras with motion sensors are mounted around the property inside and out. Thank you!
Parking: No issues with parking. Lots of room to park up and down RT. 4. Please use caution, it's a fast traveled road.
Pre-Sales: The ONE ITEM and ONLY ITEM for sale right away before the Estate Sale is the Ox-Cart Wagon. This is the only items avail. to purchase before the sale, please refrain from calling/emailing or asking about other items. Thank you!
Last Hour Bargains! Anything remaining from 1pm-2pm the last hour of our sale on Sunday will be heavily discounted in every effort to leave this property empty! If you are a reseller, bargain shopper, super frugal or just darn "cheap", we invite you to attend the last hour of our sale make a pile and name your price! Seriously, if you can get it out of the sale in the last hour the deals will be unheard of! It's a smart idea to come back to our sales the last hour! Just make sure you can get it all out by closing time. No exceptions.

Our estate sales are simply conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Get there very early and well before opening time if you expect to be one of the first to enter. Often we have long lines therefore we have to limit the amount of shoppers inside at one time. We do this based on the safety of our shoppers. We open promptly at the advertised time for each sale. We never allow early entry. We don't give out prices before the sale for any reason. Security cameras and security alarm system in place at home and during the sale. WE PROSECUTE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.
