Online Auction Terms & Conditions (LiveAuctioneers Platform)

By registering to bid and/or placing a bid through the LiveAuctioneers platform in any online auction conducted by Park Place Auctions (?Park Place,? ?we,? ?us,? or ?our?), you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions, as well as LiveAuctioneers? User Agreement.

1. Online Bidding Agreement

All bids placed through LiveAuctioneers are legally binding. The highest bidder recognized by the LiveAuctioneers bidding system at the close of an auction shall be deemed the purchaser.

Park Place Auctions reserves the right to reject any bid, resolve bidding disputes, reopen bidding, withdraw lots, or cancel a sale at its sole discretion.

2. Buyer?s Premium

A buyer?s premium will be added to the final hammer price of each lot as disclosed on LiveAuctioneers and in the auction listing. The buyer?s premium is payable as part of the total purchase price.

3. Payment Terms

Payment in full is required within 7 days of the auction closing unless otherwise stated.

Invoices are issued through LiveAuctioneers. Accepted forms of payment may include credit card, cash, wire transfer, or other approved methods. Items will not be shipped or released until payment has been received and cleared.

Failure to remit payment within the stated timeframe may result in cancellation of the sale, forfeiture of bidding privileges, relisting of the item, and notification to LiveAuctioneers.

4. Shipping, Insurance & Handling

Unless otherwise stated, Park Place Auctions offers in-house shipping and insurance on most items. Shipping costs, insurance, and applicable taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Park Place Auctions is not responsible for shipping delays, carrier issues, or damage once the item has been transferred to the shipping carrier. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer upon shipment.

5. Item Descriptions & Condition

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied.

Descriptions, photographs, measurements, and condition statements are provided for informational purposes only and represent opinions, not statements of fact. Park Place Auctions makes no representations regarding condition, quality, authenticity, or completeness.

Bidders are encouraged to ask questions prior to bidding. No refunds or price adjustments will be made due to condition issues.

6. Authenticity & Authentication

Any references to authenticity, signatures, or provenance are based on information available at the time of cataloging. Third-party authentication, when stated, is provided for buyer reference only.

Park Place Auctions does not guarantee that any item will be accepted by third-party grading or authentication services now or in the future.

7. Final Sale Policy

All sales are final. No returns, refunds, credits, or chargebacks are permitted once an item has been awarded to the winning bidder.

8. Non-Payment & Bidder Default

If a winning bidder fails to complete payment, Park Place Auctions reserves the right to:

Cancel the sale

Relist the item

Recover fees or damages

Restrict or revoke bidding privileges

Report the non-payment to LiveAuctioneers

Items previously sold may be relisted due to bidder non-payment or default.

9. LiveAuctioneers Platform Disclaimer

Park Place Auctions is not responsible for errors, omissions, or technical issues related to the LiveAuctioneers platform, including but not limited to internet outages, delayed bidding, system failures, or missed bids.

Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring their account, internet connection, and bidding device are functioning properly prior to and during the auction.

10. Limitation of Liability

Park Place Auctions shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from participation in an online auction, including but not limited to bidding errors, platform issues, item condition, or shipping delays.

Any liability, if proven, shall be limited to the amount paid by the buyer for the item.

11. Taxes

Applicable sales tax will be charged in accordance with state and local laws unless a valid resale or tax exemption certificate is provided prior to payment.

12. Modifications

Park Place Auctions reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted and become effective immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Park Place Auctions operates.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By registering, bidding, or participating in a Park Place Auctions sale through LiveAuctioneers, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the LiveAuctioneers User Agreement.
