Description & Details
Located in the fairly new upscale 55+ community of the Pavillions- this house holds many many fine treasures! A non- smoking, non- pet or children home all the furniture is in very good shape and is beautiful. The bedroom suite is really 12 pieces of 1966 Mahogany Danish Modern chests and glass cabinets ( I have the original receipts) and a newer bed with a good Queen Mattress and box bought in 2010. There is a couch, a great blue Lazy Boy recliner, two matching other recliners in Burnt Sienna, There is a sweet little ladies roll top desk, a trundle bed, several very cool end tables. There is a beautiful dining room set from the Oak Warehouse, a cute little dining nook table- tile topped with two very comfortable wooden chairs. There is a very nice older table ( I think it comes apart) and a wonderful child's rocker that was made by a member of the family in the late 1800's. There are 4 cane seated chairs that unfortunately have been painted light blue. There are several large storage cabinets in the garage, bookcases, garage shelving etc.
Now on to the fun stuff- There is an amazing collection of vintage 50-70's S&P . They have been packed since 1982 ( according to the paper they were wrapped in!) as well another box from the same move that had never been unpacked that held a plethora of crystal pieces from Germany, Czec, Ireland, etc, several pieces of Pink Depression glass, and this amazing green etched depression glass plate(?). There is a Hummell, lots of other little knick knacky kind of things including several roosters ( 1 carved wood). Loads and loads of costume jewelry ( NO GOLD OR STERLING) including many signed brooches, lots of beads and earrings. ( I haven't really delved into it extensively yet- stay tuned for more info!) There is a lot of books, records, garden stuff, kitchen stuff, etc. There is an old tin wind up toy ( a bear drinking milk), an old German cuckoo clock, and lots more!
