BIDDING & FINAL SALES
All bids are binding. The highest bidder acknowledged at the close of bidding will be the purchaser of the lot, subject to any applicable reserve and the Auction House's right to resolve bidding errors or disputes as permitted by law and platform rules.
Buyers should ask all questions and request any additional photographs or condition information before bidding.
BUYER'S PREMIUM
A buyer's premium will be added to the hammer price of each successful lot at the percentage displayed for the applicable auction on LiveAuctioneers. The buyer's premium is part of the total purchase price.
SALES TAX
Applicable sales tax will be collected as required by law unless the buyer has provided a valid and accepted resale or tax-exemption certificate.
CONDITION & AS-IS SALES
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all property is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS.
The majority of property offered by Thee Perfect Sale is pre-owned, vintage, antique, estate-sourced, or otherwise previously used and should be expected to show age, wear, use, imperfections, repairs, alterations, fading, scratches, losses, or other condition issues consistent with its history.
Thee Perfect Sale makes reasonable efforts to photograph and describe lots accurately and in good faith. Condition statements are provided as a courtesy and should not be interpreted as a complete listing of every flaw, defect, repair, alteration, or condition issue.
Photographs are considered part of the lot description. Buyers are encouraged to review all photographs carefully and request additional information prior to bidding.
ATTRIBUTION, AGE & AUTHENTICITY
Descriptions concerning maker, manufacturer, designer, artist, period, age, origin, material, attribution, provenance, or authenticity represent Thee Perfect Sale's good-faith assessment based upon available information, markings, documentation, consignor information, and/or research unless the listing specifically states that an independent authentication or certificate accompanies the lot.
References such as "attributed to," "in the manner of," "style of," "after," or similar terminology should be understood according to their ordinary auction-market meaning and do not constitute a guarantee of authorship.
Measurements are approximate.
ESTIMATES
Any estimates provided are opinions for guidance only and are not guarantees of value, market value, resale value, or the final selling price. A lot may sell above or below its stated estimate.
DESIGNER & BRANDED GOODS
Designer names, trademarks, labels, signatures, markings, and identifying characteristics will be described and photographed when reasonably available. Unless a lot is expressly stated to include third-party authentication, buyers should not assume that independent authentication has been performed.
POSTERS, PRINTS, ART & COLLECTIBLES
Unless expressly stated otherwise, descriptions of printing methods, editions, dates, signatures, artist attribution, provenance, or production history are based upon the information reasonably available to Thee Perfect Sale at the time of cataloging.
GLASS, CERAMICS & FRAGILE PROPERTY
Glass, ceramics, lighting, decorative objects, and similar property may contain minor manufacturing variations, bubbles, inclusions, surface wear, scratches, fleabites, small losses, or other characteristics that may not be readily visible in photographs. Buyers should request additional condition information when condition is material to their bidding decision.
PAYMENT & RELEASE OF PROPERTY
Payment must be completed according to Thee Perfect Sale's posted Payment Policy. No property will be released until payment has been received and cleared in full.
SHIPPING & PICKUP
Buyers are responsible for reviewing and complying with Thee Perfect Sale's posted Shipping Policy and any lot-specific shipping restrictions. Shipping availability and method may vary by lot.
CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
All sales are final except where otherwise required by applicable law or LiveAuctioneers policies. A change of mind, failure to review measurements, inability to arrange shipping or pickup, or failure to review the provided photographs and description does not constitute grounds for cancellation.
TECHNICAL ISSUES
Thee Perfect Sale is not responsible for internet interruptions, delayed transmissions, platform outages, missed bids, software failures, or other technical issues outside the Auction House's reasonable control.
AUCTION HOUSE DISCRETION
To the extent permitted by applicable law and platform rules, Thee Perfect Sale reserves the right to reject a bid or bidder registration, withdraw a lot prior to sale, resolve bidding disputes, correct cataloging or clerical errors, and take reasonable action necessary to conduct the auction fairly.
LOT-SPECIFIC TERMS
Information or restrictions stated within an individual lot description take precedence over these general policies where the two conflict.
GOVERNING LAW
Transactions with Thee Perfect Sale, LLC are governed by applicable laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
ACCEPTANCE
By registering for the auction and/or placing a bid, the bidder acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to these Terms & Conditions together with the applicable Payment Policy, Shipping Policy, individual lot description, auction-specific notices, and applicable LiveAuctioneers terms.
