This house is still packed after two days, so for the third day, we'll be offering 30 percent off marked prices throughout the house!
The lady of this house has lovely taste and a passion for the color blue. She has become a bit of a shopaholic in recent years, and the house is packed from basement to rafters with lovely things that she has acquired, some lovingly used and cared for over the decades, and many others new in boxes. The gentleman, a retired electrician, has accumulated many tools, hardware and accessories over the years.
The house is located in a lovely section of Dover just a couple of minutes off Route 10, near the Randolph border.
Living room:
Sofa, two wingback chairs, many small tables, Stiffel table lamp, fabulous mid-mod table with mosaic top, teacup collection and just a few pieces in this homeowner's extensive collection of blue-and-white pottery both old and new. Lots of Lenox throughout the house. The extensive jewelry collection, mostly costume but quite a bit of sterling silver and one piece of gold, has been artfully displayed.
Dining room: Table with two leaves and custom pads, six chairs, two matching sideboards, assorted cabinets, collection of Longaberger baskets, linens, lots of blue and white pottery and other small decorative items.
Kitchen: Complete set for eight of Longaberger dinner ware, Pottery Barn kitchenette nearly new, assorted glassware and dishes, microwave, cookie jar collection
Master bedroom: Queen bed with headboard, matching dresser with mirror and chest, nightstand that actually appears to go better with the dining room set, many small decorative items. There is an assortment of perfume gift sets.
Den:
Wicker sofa, assorted small tables and chairs, cedar-lined chest, set of Meakin china, many more small items to be gone through.
Hallway: Box after box of vintage glassware, items for entertaining, books and more, to be gone through. More details as we begin organizing.
Hall closet: Christmas decorations
Back bedroom: triple-wide combination dresser/vanity, can also be used as a work station. Twin bed. Chairs. Desk. Lots of bedding. Several boxes of yarn and knitting supplies. Stacks of household items new in boxes, more details as we begin organizing.
Basement front room: Several shelving units packed with small decorative items. Desk. Chest. Oversized armchair with ottoman, wingback chair. Lots of linens. Several oscillating fans and an air cleaner. Record collection. More details as we begin organizing.
Laundry room: The cabinets are packed with what appear to be boxed items for holiday entertaining, including a complete set for 12 of Christmas china.
Workshop: Workbench and several shelving units bulging with hand and power tools and hardware, totally disorganized at the moment, so more details as we get in to organize.
Garage: Wicker and rattan furniture including sofa/coffee table set, several small chairs, tables and chests, an etagere and more.
Outdoor shed: These items will be brought into the garage for easy access. Lawn mower, car ramps, hedge trimmer and a few more small toolboxes.
