He studied at Kean University and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Fine Arts. He has had exhibitions in many art galleries such as The Hait Gallery, Diamond Gallery, Dilann Gallery, the Barron Arts Center, The 479 Gallery in Soho, the Les Malamut Afrt Gallery and the Donald Palmer Museum.

He has shown at many juried art shows for Art Associations, and Museums all over NJ and in NYC such as the Newark Museum, Bergen Museum, and the Essex Art Assoc, the Art Assoc of the Oranges and many more. My Spiro has won multiple awards from Art Associations and shows all over NJ, many times taking First Prize and Best in Show.

He has participated in outreach programs, he is the artist in residence at many libraries, helps with programs for disabled veterans and the blind and has served as a judge in multiple art shows.

Many of Mr. Spiro’s sculptures sit in prominent locations such as the Sayreville library, the Newark Museum and Atlantic City Hall. Numerous sculptures have been bought by corporations for use in their buildings.
