This 4 level split rancher has some really really cool treasures and I just started! ( she says gleefully!) There is the usual furniture, several couches, parlor chairs, Full size canopy BR set, several cool old tables, book cases, desks, kitchen table , a beautiful pettipoint vintage rocker, as well as two other rockers... etc, it's the unusual that has been excitied!
There is an entire room of HAM RADIO and " electrical experimenters" stuff. Radios, tools, capacitators ( so he told me), regulators, tons of specilized tools and gadgets. There are also about 100 books related to Electrical Engineering, troubleshooting, Ham Radio stuff, Computer programming, loads of manuals and technical manuals.Then there is another room of tool related.garage gadget stuff. There are several large power tools that are on the bench ( will post pic after the weekend) , a refrigerator and a freezer,and tons of stuff in this room ( diggers delight!)
There is also a lot of art /craft stuff in another room including a portable sewing machine. There is also an old vintage Macintosh SE ( model 5011)computer that works!!. Lots of paper for computers, boxes of crayola stuff and other artist supplies.
I found a large collection of Lilliput Lane ( England) collectibles in their original boxes. These are hand crafted replicas of castles, cottages, and UK landmarks. There are probably about 18 pieces. In doing my research I have found that while some pieces are available here in the US- I have some pieces that seem to only be availalbe in the UK. Posted a few better pics.
There is also a UK collection by David Winter. More of the hand crafted replicas of castles and houses in the UK. There is also a sizable collection of the Cats Meow Village. These wooden hand cut and hand painted houses and the likes of cool places here in the USA!
Another wicked cool thing that I have found is a German Wilesco D305 Live Steam Fire Engine. It is also in it's original box and seems to be wicked cool.
There are tons of books, lots of tapes ( VCR, Cassette, Reel-to-reel) Oh did I mention the reel to reel player? there are lots of records, luggage, linens, men and women's clothes, loads of Wilton, & Williamsburg pewter pieces. I also found a full box of old Barbie and Ken stuff with vintage full size doll house furniture-cool pink kitchen stuff. There are also some kids toys ( grandkids), lots of games including games- including an old UK version of Monolopy!, bongo's, a snare drums, lots of percussions stuff! (A family that plays together....)
I found an entire dresser of new greeting cards! I could open a card/ book shoppe and have something for everyone!!!
While in the garage,there is an electric lawn mover w/ an extra battery and spare parts, a large Troy- Bilt wood chipper, loads of lawn care stuff, a Toro leaf blower, a small hedge trimmer,two wheelbarrows and much more.!
There is some much stuff in this house. The kitchen is loaded to the rafters with everything imaginable. There is this combo fryer and crock pot that is soemthing I've never seen before. There are some real cool colored bottles, lots of kitchen gadgets, tons of cookbooks. Did I mention there are tons of books on every subject?
There is some costume jewelry- not a lot but some nice old pins and a neat Scrimshaw boat on a silk cord.
There are tons of linens as well as both ladies and mens clothes and shoes. For the men there are some cool shoes ( size 11) and lots of really nice slacks, shirts and sport coats. the same for you gals. There are lots of new never worn shoes and sandles. There are also some ladies re-enactors period costumes ( probably from volunteering at Longstreet farm- the living history park in Holmdel. There are lots of new clothes with the tags still on them. Actually there is a lot of new stuff all thru the house.
The list could go and on but I'm beat and ready for bed! Hope to see you there. Please DO NOT park in the Driveway. We need to keep this clear some people can load there treasures. Your co operation is greatly appreciated!
