Additional standouts include Chinese Famille Rose and Canton export porcelain, a Steinway Aeolian Duo-Art baby grand piano, over a dozen Persian rugs, two Masterpiece floor model radios, Italian marble sculptures, vintage banks, a Tiffany Favrile bowl, and even the original Wurlitzer organ from New York City’s famed Hippodrome.
The sale also features a fine collection of rare 19th- and 20th-century illustrated books, including A Child’s Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson (1905), The Arabian Nights: Their Best-Known Tales illustrated by Maxfield Parrish, The Night Before Christmas and The Pied Piper of Hamelin illustrated by Arthur Rackham, and several volumes illustrated by Hugh Thomson, including The Vicar of Wakefield, Cranford by Mrs. Gaskell, and an 1899 edition of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
