The Contents of this vintage 1760s Federal House
A fine opportunity to view what Bergen County was like at its inception.
There are a number of items in the house from different periods of time from late federal to mid-modern.
The list is as follows, but will be updated as we continue to work in the house.
Finest I have ever seen of a Triptych Coromandel style screen with 3 sections painted with Barbizon views in a solid mahogany frame. Approximate size in total is about 5 feet tall X 7 feet wide. Signed indistinctly.
A number of Victorian chairs and lamps; also some rockers. An assortment of drop leaf tables from mid-19th century. Several clocks, student violin, collection of older violin bows in as is condition; a violincello in as is condition.
Great portrait of a stunning young lady signed Erwin D Hoffman listed artist.Painting in the style of Maurice Utrillo not framed.
