Terms & Conditions

Cash and Zelle accepted. No checks. No exceptions, no matter how charming you are.

All sales are final. Items are sold as-is, where-is. We have described things honestly and to the best of our ability, which is more than can be said for most people selling things on the internet.

Bring help, a dolly, and a plan for large items. We are not a moving company. We will cheer you on from a respectful distance.

Buyers are responsible for safe removal of all purchases. Neither the family nor the estate is responsible for accidents, injuries, or the sudden realization that the dresser does not fit in your car.

No early entry. The line forms at the door. We appreciate your enthusiasm and ask that you express it outside.

Please handle items with care. If you break it, it's yours, and now it's also broken.

Children and pets must be supervised at all times. This is a home full of 60 years of things, not a showroom. Watch your people.

All prices are negotiable. Reasonable offers considered.

Check out some of the items on Facebook Marketplace, and look for new updates:

This is the first private sale this individual/company has listed.

Description & Details

Full disclosure: this is not going to be the estate sale you read about in a magazine.

But it might be the one you tell your friends about.

This is a Paramus, NJ estate sale. Bergen County. A single-family home that was lived in, loved, and held together by a family who understood that buying something once and taking care of it was not a philosophy, it was just common sense. They did this for sixty years. The results are now available to the public for one day only, on Saturday, but you can email me to get the Facebook listings to come early if you want.

There is some artwork. We are not going to make claims about it. It was on the walls for a long time, it looked right there, and now it is ready for someone else's walls where it will probably also look right. It is already listed on our Facebook Marketplace. Email me at DonCebu@yahoo.com and I will send you the links before the weekend so you can get first pick.

What we have is furniture, vintage housewares, hand tools, clothing, books, vinyl records, collectibles, and the kind of honest accumulation that happens when a family live in the same Bergen County house for six decades and never threw anything out on principle. Not because they were hoarders. Because the dresser was solid. Because the thingsl worked perfectly. Because things were built differently back then and they knew it.

The pictures are just some of the inventory. I was only able to upload 50 photos as a private sale. But everything here is real, everything is priced to move, and none of it is junk. But there is a full size dumpster in the driveway already. So it will be junk if you don't come and take it.

WHY YOU SHOULD COME ANYWAY

Because the good stuff at estate sales always goes to the people who show up first. That has been true since the beginning of estate sales and it remains true the Saturday the estate sale is held in Paramus.

The antique and vintage pieces in this sale were not bought at a pop-up or a chain store with a reclaimed wood aesthetic. They were bought when they were just called furniture, by people who intended to keep them, and they did. Solid wood dressers. Real dining sets. A sofa situation that will outlast your current living room arrangement by a decade at minimum.

The kitchen has some tools for cooking methods that most people have watched on television but never actually attempted. Mixing bowls in every size. Sheet pans that have never warped. Things whose purpose you will not immediately recognize but will buy anyway because they look serious and they are.

The garage reflects a man who was prepared. Hand tools, power tools, workshop supplies, and equipment for jobs both anticipated and apparently theoretical. Everything organized. Everything functional. Vintage tools in this kind of condition do not show up every weekend. The people who know that will be here Friday morning.

The vinyl records are from someone who actually listened to music and bought it accordingly.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO RIGHT NOW

Before the weekend, you can buy some of the items on Facebook Marketplace listings. Everything that can be sold individually is being posted when I have time to create the listings.

Furniture, collectibles, vintage items, artwork, housewares. If you see something you want, come get before the week. Do not wait for the weekend. The weekend is for whatever is left, and whatever is left is what did not get claimed by the people who emailed first. After that it is going in the dumpster already parked in the driveway.

We are completely serious about this. Email me. Get the link. Come pick it up. Beat the crowd by not being in it. That is the move and it has always been the move.

Then if you still want to come Saturday morning and walk the house, we will be ready at 9 AM sharp.

THE ACTUAL SITUATION

We cleaned out a lot already. The family took what the family wanted. Some pieces have already sold through Marketplace. What remains is honest and worthwhile, just not enormous. We would rather have the right ten people show up than fifty people expecting something we never advertised.

This is people's things. A real Bergen County home. Sixty years of a life lived with purpose and practicality. Priced fairly because it deserves to go to people who will use it, not a storage unit.

The line will form before 9 and that is not an accident.

Saturday: We are open to reasonable conversation on price. Everything must leave by 4 PM.

There is no Day 2. We mean that. Everything is going in the dumpster.

Cash and Zelle accepted. All sales final. Everything is sold as-is. Bring help and a plan if you want furniture. We will cheer you on but we are not a moving company. Do not ask us to hold anything for more than 24 hours. We are not shipping the dresser.
