Terms & Conditions

1. Open 9 AM, no early sales.
All sales cash and carry. No checks. No credit cards. No Venmo, No Zelle. There are ATMs in town. Small bills for small purchases please. During the first hour of the sale please do not offer a $50. bill for a $2. purchase. ARM YOURSELF WITH SMALL BILLS. We do NOT hold anything without payment due to being stood up so many times.
2. Please bring packing materials and boxes for smalls. We will have some boxes and newspapers, but most likely not enough for the many fragile Christmas ornaments.
3. Sale starts at 9 AM. If it's raining sale will be held as scheduled. Please feel free to email daylilydiva@aol.com before the sale if in doubt or to call in advance. No early buyers please, even if your son has just been burned out of his double wide and needs vintage Christmas ornaments desperately. No even if you have dialysis on Friday and can only come the day before. No even if you are a big, famous buyer and without your patronage our sale will fail. No if you just "happen" to be in the neighborhood the day before and would like to shop early. No if you are a famous antiques author, dealer, influencer and are "always" allowed in early due to your status. No even if you are a vintage Christmas ornament dealer and you desperately need stock for your booth at the White Plains Show. No Mom, not even you! No one will have picked over this wonderful hoard of 76 blow molds and many other old fashioned Christmas items before 9 AM on Friday.
4. All items sold as is, where is, with no warranties of any kind as to age, condition, rarity, desirability, country of origin, size, value, weight, provenance etc. Once you have paid for an item it is yours and the best idea is to secure item in your vehicle immediately. Any items left lying around unattended run the risk of being sold a second time and possibly a third time if they are not removed. You will NOT get your money back in this scenario. We are unable to help you move or load bulky / heavy items. WE'RE OLD AND HAVE DIFFICULTY MOVING OURSELVES! Bring a pick up truck, van or big SUV for these bargains and a strong young friend. Don't have a strong young friend? Make one before Friday!
5. Well behaved children are welcome, particularly if they have their own money. Badly behaved children may be locked in your car trunk while you shop.
6. No pets, no matter how cute they are, thank you. This includes carried pets! It's going to be chilly, leave the fur babies, feather babies, and reptile skin babies at home.
7. You enter the sale at your own risk and agree by entering that you are solely responsible for your own safety and in the event you injure yourself or others in your party are injured, you and your comrades will hold harmless all sales participants and the property owner. If you have the temerity to sue anyway, you agree, by entering the sale or walking on the property holding the sale, to be responsible for paying the entire legal costs the owners of the property and sales agents incur to defend themselves legally from you. This is a binding agreement and you accept the terms by attending the sale. Terms posted at entrance to the sale.
8. All items sold strictly for decorative use only, any other use of the items is the sole responsibility of the buyer. For instance, "It's a 1930's electrified tree stand with iffy original wiring. It is up to you to display it unplugged or to have it rewired by a licensed electrician. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG AFTER YOUR PURCHASE." These lovely Christmas things are antique, vintage, used or preowned. They are NOT new and may need wiring or other upgrades.
9. Local curbside delivery of bulky items MAY BE available, price depends upon your location. "Local" means somewhere around: Wayne, Lincoln Park, Riverdale, Towaco, Montville, Kinnelon, Preakness, Pompton Lakes, Pequannock, Bloomingdale, Butler.
10. ALL SALES FINAL. We do not do returns. We do not do exchanges. I'm sorry your significant other doesn't like it. I'm sorry the shade of red doesn't go with your curtains. I'm sorry it is too big for the space. I'm sorry you have buyer's remorse. There are NO refunds! No credits. No exchanges. Take a ride in the country and kick it off onto the side of the road if you must but don't look to bring it back for a refund. *****Will refund to your heir if he / she returns item in same condition it was when sold within two days of the sale and presents an official sealed copy (no photo copies) of your death certificate . Otherwise there are no returns, no credits, no exchanges.
11. NO pocketbooks! No briefcases! No man bags. No umbrellas! Nothing larger than a cash stuffed wallet, thank you!
12. Things in the cases are small fragile items. Ask to be shown anything in the cases. DO NOT OPEN cases yourself. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BOXES AND WRAPPING PAPER in case we run out of packing materials.
13. Masks required, IF it's the law. Besides, most of our prices are so cheap you might as well dress the part of a thief as these prices are a steal!

Huge Sale Vintage Christmas Including 98 Blow Molds:  October 6-7 Friday / Saturday, 9 AM -5 PM.  

98  Blow Molds mostly Christmas with a five Halloween and six  Easter.  3 Easter blow molds signed "Don Featherstone."

98 Blow Molds (Buy them all if you're first in the sale with cash for $6,295. and be ready for Christmas!) including (see very last photo for these late additions!)  8 soldiers, 6 red candles with yellow flames, Easter Egg Vignette, Easter chick, Easter bunny, possibly one of a kind gold (no white, all gold where it is usually white) waving Santa (Santa has all factory paint, NOT repaint), and 4 union plastics "colonial candles" in original boxes. 

All blow molds  pretty much all have working light cords, maybe a scant few missing.  I know the sheep doesn't have a light cord and maybe one or two of the babies have no cords.

The three Christ Child figures  do have wooden mangers which are not shown.  

Outstanding dated 1841 baby sled with original paint, "Fair Play J G W 1841".  This is a stunner!  One of the earliest ever dated sleds and a baby size to boot!  

2 color wheels (WORKING!) for silver Christmas trees:   one oddball pink framed rotating carousel light marked "NOMA" and one brass colored regular rotating wheel. 

Ceramic Christmas trees with the tiny push in plastic "flames". 

Hard plastic German Santa / St Nicholas candy containers.

Playground cast aluminum 1950s duck riding toy with display base. 

Beautiful 1950s punch set with cups and bowl decorated with hand painted holly leaves and berries in original box only $10. because it's missing one punch cup.  Uncle Leroy got plastered one Christmas in the 1950s on punch  and threw his glass into the fireplace thinking he was in some Victorian Christmas drama.

SLEDS!  Lots of $10. sleds for decorating for Christmas.  Also sleds for collectors which have great graphics and one with painted on holly and berries.  Have a couple of c 1900 sleds which are set on taller runners and have more graceful shaping of the "necks".  

Bin full of soft vinyl figural toys from the old Riverdale Plastics Company (1950s/1960s)  including Disneys for under the tree.  

Lots more vintage / antique Christmas things.

There will be non holiday things too: costume jewelry, vintage park benches, set four fanciful heavy cast iron Victorian chairs, cast iron lacy "grapes, grape leaves and vines" loveseat,  advertising,  old figurines, dishware, vintage linens, bakeware, table full of $2. items if we have time to set that up while dragging out 98 blow molds.

Spectacular all wood Adirondack Rustic Outdoor Dining set with 8 chairs and a 2 section oval table.  This is SUPERB QUALITY!  The furniture is HEAVY, DENSE WOOD, SOLID, SPACIOUS (For the wider American!) and was staggeringly expensive when bought new.  It's NOT the light weight, flimsy Chinese imports which only fit SKINNY Americans and the chairs self destruct in a season.  This is a luxury set for $995.  

Adirondack Rustic "Twig" Hat Rack $65.  Very unusual! 

Pair of white painted Adirondack rustic big armchairs with wide arms for holding adult beverages comfortably with a small cocktail table $225. for the set.  Pair of heavy duty, wide folding Adirondack rustic armchairs needing a coat of primer and 2 coats of white paint for $100.  These are BIG chairs which hold substantial people.  

Lovely antique round mahogany table with loads of hand carving, three cabriole legs, round turnip / bun feet, graceful, heavily carved cabriole legs and a magazine / vase display shelf for only $19. 

"Cott" soda rack 1940s with painted tin advertising signs on both side.  Pair cast iron garden urns in grey primer,  single very tall cast metal garden urn, single garden cast iron urns, one antique Blockbuster "faces" cast iron urn which takes 2 to lift it!  We have galvanized buckets and galvanized scrub / laundry bucket which make great rustic holders for chrysanthemums, charming Edwardian lingerie chest with all original woven cane surface and burned bamboo legs. 

Green portable carpenter's chest from the mid 1800s.  MUCH, MUCH more!
