This curated auction presents a substantial and historically rich collection of autographs, manuscripts, official documents, photographs, and printed ephemera spanning from the 16th through the 20th centuries, with a strong emphasis on European?particularly Polish and French?royal, military, and political history. The sale brings together primary-source material ranging from early modern royal and noble documents to 20th-century wartime and postwar memorabilia. French royal and state material from the early modern period is also represented, alongside later imperial and republican examples. The 19th and 20th century offerings include material associated with Polish military and political leaders, resistance and ?migr? figures, and European statesmen, with names such as J?zef Haller, W?adys?aw Sikorski, Lech Wa??sa, Wyszynski, and Marshal Ferdinand Foch appearing within the catalog.
