Bodnar’s Auction is Central New Jersey’s Largest Auction! We are a one stop auction facility to buy, sell and trade anything! Currently our sales are running over 4000 lots including all aspects of quality personal property not just antiques. 90 percent of the items sold come from estate liquidations, moving liquidation, asset liquidation, or downsizing of homes. 10 percent come from local dealers moving out stock. The sale is broken down into a 4 ring auction. 9:30am begins the box-lot section which contains many Hidden Treasures. This sale features over 1700 lots clerked every month including general household to fine antiques. This sale generally runs until 10:00pm or until every lot is sold. Box-Lots sell anywhere from $5.00 a box to the Thousands! You never know what you will find in this section, it’s a true treasure hunt! At 10:30am will begin our special collection sale in front of the stage area ring 2. This sale generally runs about 600 lots pertaining to any type of collection such as Toys from All Generations, Music collections, DVD collections, Military Collections, Doll Collections, Franklin Mint Collections or any other collection you can think of! At 12 noon our jewelry room begins in the right side of the building in ring 3. This sale always features 1000+ lots of costume jewelry, fine jewelry, woman’s apparel, clothing, gloves, scarves, textiles, sterling silver, coins, stamps, and anything else related. In this section we normally have 100 showcases of costume jewelry. During preview we give the opportunity for buyers to go though these lots and pull any item out of a showcase for a $10.00 opening bid. Pulls from showcases and completed about ½ hour before the sale begins and they sell those items first. At 1:00pm in ring 4 in the hallway sells 300+ lots of books and paper related items. All subjects and all years! This is a great way to buy good reading material for a fraction of retail costs! At 4:30 in the hallway ring 4, we begin the selection of furniture. This selection of furniture is normally as-is furniture, items need restoration or tender loving care, tools, country items, appliances, and newer used furniture. At 4:30pm we also begin our main auction in front of the stage in ring 2. This sale is a sit down sale featuring many of our advertised quality items. This sale features glassware, dinnerware, vases, decorative arts, well know artists art work, bronzes, vases, collectibles, plus all the better items. This section of the sale also includes higher end furniture and lighting. This sale normally runs until 1:00am in the morning with 1000 lots selling! Truly you can spend the day here and fill your house or shop in one stop!
