A life well lived between Nevada City, California, and Cerrillos, New Mexico, is reflected throughout this thoughtful estate. A kind and gracious man of few words, he possessed a remarkable intellect and a deep appreciation for the history, artistry, and culture of the American Southwest. Together with his beloved partner, he enjoyed a life of travel, caring for real estate, and thoughtfully collecting objects of lasting beauty and significance.

Among the treasures offered are exceptional pieces of Acoma, Laguna, Santo Domingo, Jemez, Hopi, and Nambe pottery, acquired directly from Native artists and pueblos during the latter part of the twentieth century. Each piece represents both artistic excellence and cultural heritage, offering collectors and admirers an opportunity to acquire works that can be cherished for their beauty, craftsmanship, and investment value.

A devoted archivist, he and his wife spent the quiet months of the COVID pandemic meticulously organizing and cataloging their extensive library. Their carefully curated collection is a testament to a lifetime of learning and would be the envy of any passionate book collector.

Cerrillos is a little farther from Santa Fe than our typical estate sale location, but we think you'll enjoy the opportunity to explore one of New Mexico's charming historic villages while spending the day with your fellow Estate Sales with Grace shoppers.

To make your visit even more enjoyable, Cerrillos Station will be open early at 9:00 a.m. with coffee and treats especially for ESWG shoppers. They are located at 15B First Street.

After the sale, treat yourself to lunch at the Black Bird Saloon, located at 28 Main Street. It is one of our favorite destinations and well worth the drive any day of the week.

While you're in town, take time to explore Cerrillos' unique attractions, including the Trading Post, the Mining Museum, and the Petting Zoo. According to Santa Fe County public records, the village has a population of just 67 residents. On Saturday, our shoppers may easily outnumber the local population!

We kindly ask everyone to be respectful of our neighbors by keeping driveways, streets, and pedestrian areas clear. Two parking attendants will be available throughout the day to assist with parking and merchandise pick-up.

Entry Information

To ensure an orderly opening, entry numbers will be distributed 60, 30, and 15 minutes before the sale begins. We encourage early arrival if you would like to secure a place in line. After receiving your number, you are welcome to relax in your vehicle, enjoy a cup of coffee, or explore the charming village until the doors open at 10:00 a.m. Guests will be admitted in numerical order.

This is a one-day-only sale and well worth the scenic 20-mile drive from Santa Fe or 30-mile drive from Eldorado.
