A Remarkable Life Together

This week's estate sale celebrates two extraordinary individuals whose lives were enriched by their shared passions for art, science, opera, and world travel.

He was a scientist in the Theoretical Division of Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, contributing to research in comet photochemistry and nuclear reactor safety.

She was an accomplished artist, educator, and world traveler, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Washington University. Her adventurous spirit took her to Micronesia, where she taught English with the Peace Corps, and later to Shenyang University in China. After settling in Chimayo, New Mexico, she became known for her exquisite silk batiks and vibrant hand-painted scarves. Her creative talents also led her to the Santa Fe Opera costume shop during the 1980s.

Married in 1997, they shared a wonderful life of cultural exploration and adventure, traveling the world to attend operas, experience different cultures, and witness solar eclipses. Their home reflects a lifetime of curiosity, creativity, and remarkable experiences.

This remarkable mid-century home is truly a time capsule, filled with artistic expression, fascinating discoveries, and reminders of lives well lived. The Crew has thoroughly enjoyed preparing this collection, and we are excited to share it with you.

A Special Note About Parking

Parking along Tano Road will be somewhat challenging. Please allow extra time, exercise patience, and be prepared to walk along the gravel driveway. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Please drive slowly and carefully through the neighborhood. Do not block driveways, park on private property, or obstruct access to neighboring homes. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the neighborhood safe and accessible.
