Henderson Time Capsule: Edison Phonograph, Antiques & a Woodworker's Dream Shop

Some houses have stories, this one has chapters. Welcome to a true old-Henderson time capsule just off Water Street! This family watched Las Vegas grow up around them, and they filled this house with memories the whole way through.

The showstoppers: An Edison cylinder phonograph in its oak case with original Amberol cylinder records. An antique floor safe (yes, a real one). Cast iron train cars and a horse-drawn carriage toy. Antique crank wall telephones. Victorian wall clocks. Antique black-and-white photographs and framed historical pieces.

For the collectors: Depression glass, antique glass oil lamps, milk glass, a curio cabinet full of sparkle, an antique bottle collection, glass insulators, vintage cameras, silver plate, and vintage kitchen tins and gadgets.

For the furniture people: Carved oak headboard, antique oak washstand with mirror, spool bed, Lane cedar chest, oak draw-leaf dining table with chairs, mid-century bedroom sets, vintage lamps and luggage.

For the makers: A serious home woodshop — lathe with a full set of turning chisels, band saw, jointer/planer, air compressor, workbenches, clamps, hand tools, hardware organizers, and lumber. This shop was loved and used.
