Description & Details
Welcome to the Endless Summer Auction — a sun-soaked celebration of design, decoration, and discovery from Cornell Auctions. This sale brings together a spirited mix of the pedigreed and the playful: iconic mid-century design from Pierre Paulin for Artifort, sculptural lighting and furniture from Remains Lighting, Niedermaier, Maison Baguès, and Oly, and garden-and-patio classics in the manner of Salterini. Collectors of fine ceramics and glass will find Herend "Rothschild Bird," Lenci and Rosenthal art porcelain, a Lladró figural group, Wedgwood jasperware, Versace for Rosenthal, and Culver barware, alongside Fraget silver and a set of classic Hitchcock chairs. Original art anchors the sale — an oil by listed French painter Louis Berthommé Saint-André — and decorative highlights range from Fornasetti-style pieces to woven rattan in the Palecek taste!
